Steve worked hard at Tulane to get in better shape, but i think his knees just didn't allow him to do so.

i think that in preseason, Francis probably didn't play very well, so Adleman went with the guys that were more consistent. When the team struggled, he had to give the guys that were playing a chance to work themselves out of the slump. Unfortunately, it took 5 straight losses for Adelman to try something different. The guy sitting on bench now will be Head. If Bonzi doesn't kick it up a notch, Snyder or Landry may take his place soon. I wished francis played sooner, but I guess coach had to do what he thought was best. Francis somehow matured, and became hungry sitting on the bench. So maybe Adelman does know what he's doing.

Good points cujo. I do give Rick Adelman credit though for finally starting to play Steve and we are still very early in the season. It was easy to get angry with him at first because we all watched Rafer for the last two seasons and no matter what didn't want to go that route (even though he is still starting somehow ) Maybe if even Aaron or Mike James would have been starting, we would have been like "maybe Rick sees something that we don't". But we knew with Wafer starting that this was just a bad decision, and still is for him to start. That being said, Rick Adelman is more flexible than JVG ever was. So I give him credit for this and hope that he will continue to improve. I want Rick Adelman to be our answer at coach!

BOOOOOO I logged on twice (2pm and 3pm) to hear this. I guess I missed it if it really came on at 2:50 and they cut it short. I know it's probably not your fault Matt, but I wish I didn't have to listen to the rest of this NFL package stuff at work and that your heads up had been a little more accurate. (either time)
