Does anyone here really think she was actually singing, youtube or not? I don't know who this chick is (Wayman Tisdale's daughter?) but one of the conditions for me to be able to watch the Rockets on the big screen last night was to sit through this show with my better half beforehand. She was lip syncing. It was really bad, too. REALLY bad. I just can't believe how far our standards have dropped. Remember when Mili Vanili were banished from the music industry for lip syncing? Hell, even a year or two ago with the whole Ashley Simpson SNL thing. Now, no one seems to care anymore.
I have no desire to listen to this song, so I'm going to assume the problem is the synching as well, which is clearly evident with Nick Lachey introducing her.
agreed.. this one is on the upload for making it look bad by poor syncing. But.. the audio still says that she lip synced it.
I never thought somebody could ruin a Wham song... Anyways, is it THAT hard to take off a few articles of clothing?
i thought this was about bad lip synching. i could care less if some chick from a disney show doesn't sing live on a christmas special, that's like singing in the Macy's Parade or on top of the pops.
I don't know, the whole idea of lip syncing under any circumstances just repulses me. Just one of those things.
I was looking for some and found quite possibly the most depressing website ever. http://www.studentsoftheworld.info/sites/tv/8470.php I feel like im about to fart out a furry pink purse with a bag of rainbows inside.
That's because we're musicians and actually play live. We know how hard it is to consistently play at a high level and have no respect for people who take shortcuts.
I happened to catch that last night and I thought to myself, "She sure sounds good" and then at the end - she actually sang into the microphone and it was very obvious that she had been lip synching the whole time. I have always thought that she looks weird with blonde hair - I guess it is because the color of her eyes really don't match up with the color of her hair.
