I was totally against yao when playing the suns. Despite having 3 turn-overs in the start of the game, yao was amazing this time around!
Everyone love this win! The Rockets have been ran over by the the Suns like a rampage in last couple years. "We have a match up problem" - that's the explanation from the little bald guy for the losses. But believe me, we will hear D'Antoni says the Suns have a match up problem against the Rockets at the end of this season.
What a game! What a win! Don't forget T-Mac, Suns would double Yao all the game without T-Mac. Steve will always be the leader of the team, he deserves 25 mpg if he keeps playing like this. Hopefully we win the next game and makes this b2b perfectly.
I'm watching the rebroadcast on FSN right now and Steve Nash definitely kicked Yao after they collided and fell in the fourth quarter of the game. It was not a very violent kick - sort of a semi-kick and then push off with his leg, but he definitely kicked him. Given Nash's track record for doing this sort of stuff, it definitely warrants a suspension and fine. Sorry I didn't tape it or anything.
hahaha...this one is funny^^ look at Rick...he was like thinking about "oh...steve...i def didn't ask u to play like this good...I'll bench u tomorrow..."

Look i'm hapy as anyone here for steve's great performance last night, but lets not carried away and call him the mvp. yao was the MVP. he carried us from A to Z. Also in the gme thread priview io wanted to see yao stop kicking out those entery passes. he did and had a huge not. lets hope he starts becoming aggressive 24-7. as mcgrady said after the game, were a helluva team when yao is in attack mode.
Someone who watched the whole game on TV can answer this question. I noticed on the box score that Nash, Stoudamire, and Marion had big games, while no one else scored more than 7 points. Was this just an off-shooting night by the other guys, or did the Rockets make a concerted effort on defense to shut down everyone else? I'm very happy about shutting down Barbosa (2-11 FG). I thought he'd be a huge matchup nightmare for us. I read on Feigen's blog that Hayes had to guard him sometimes on defensive rotations and did well. Chuck is a defensive beast! Whether it was intentional or not, I think we just figured out how to contain them defensively. Let Nash, Amare, and Marion shoot, and limit everyone else. Seeing Nash only have 6 assists was astounding to me. Francis had more assists than Nash in 13 less minutes!?
