ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Suns 11/28/2007

Stoudemire it seems has reverted back to Mr dunk and only dunk. Last year he had the 10 footer guess it dissappeared on him, sucker. Don't like this Turkey anyways.

 

We have already lost at least 4 points due to players arguing calls with the ref.

If there is any team that you should not do that with it's the suns.

4 points could be the difference in this close game.

 

I hate hearing no whistle

 

he drove against marion, got fouled no call.

then the last play, he drove on skinner who bodied him and no call.

he complained to the refs when marion fouled him so the refs would have been more alert. so to take it the 2nd time in a row and not get a call is pathetic.

 

I like having sf3, james, and rafer all getting time. When one starts to suck, just put in another one. Rafer has always played best when his job was on the line anyhow.

Damn, Yao sucks at D. For a while the suns just kept going right at him and shooting over the top. And can you imagine Shaq getting dunked on like that constantly in his prime? No, he'd lay Stoudemire out.

That half was going good until they stopped playing D on the 3 pt line and started turning the ball over constantly with bad shot selection.

Francis is really going to help this team.

 

So glad that Coach A has finally realized that Steve F. can do, and Steve will play more and more.

 

how does Yao have 19 points tonight?


I thought he couldn't score because the Suns fronting.

 

Nash is on fire.
SM is a big problem for T-Mac.
We need T-Mac back to control the 2nd half.

 

good points at halftime:
3)SF - i like his playing right now...can he keep it up for the season? only time will tell but nice start...surprising me everytime he plays...he has changed some...slower but smarter, rafer is doing better in less minutes which makes sense...let's not talk about mj right now.
2)The Flow - the flow of the rox bball game right now is pretty nice i'd say...they just need to penetrate more with yao on the high post.
1)Yao Ming - THIS is what we have been missing so far! we all know who the best center in the league is (#s dont matter)...but does he? keep stepping up yao...go for dunks like gene peterson always tell u 2...be dominant and look for ur shot if ur feeling good.
bad point:
refs...unbelievable...i have been watching the NBA for a pretty long time and this is shocking to me...yao gets jipped more than even shaq does sometimes

this will be a good game...dont expect a big win this will be close.

 

a few observations:

Steve Francis should be starting

Brian skinner has a turd hanging from the end of his beard

nobody guards Steve Nash

Mcgrady is extremely streaky

they can't b/c of the movement we are making and the positions we put yao on the floor. they started the game fronting so we took yao out and he made 2 straight 15-18 ft jumpshots. then we move him back in and they can't front anymore.

adelman's offense is going to take us to another level when we run it to perfection. seeing tracy rest for 8 minutes in that 2nd quarter and we don't miss a beat is a beautiful thing.

 

every basket yao makes is negated with amare dunking in his face

Wow, refs are absolutely horrible tonight. It is hard to think that they aren't biased after watching the game tonight. Pathetic.

 

Yao played 21 mins first half, waht does RA expect him to do at second ????

if he can get his stamina back up he might be starting again.

right now he can't play 10 min. without gasping.
