but obviously doesn't. whether it's b/c of lack of education, media hype, or just uninformed. R0ckets03's thread asking about how to remove the black bars on screen while watching a movie basically prompted this thread. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=138445 Widescreen (black bars) >>>>> Full Screen since it's the holidays, and there's a huge market for HDTVs and such, you'll need accessories to fully appreciate your viewing experience. accessories such as HDMI cables. i see people buy these at their local best buy or circuit city along with their tvs from $75-$150. "yeah, yeah. but they are GOLD-PLATED." go online, get yourself the an HDMI cable for under $20, even $10 if it's a 6 footer. there is NO difference in quality of picture. http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2007/2/19/7116
"Your" and "you're" are completely different. Remember that the next time you want to flame someone in the GARM (or D&D), lest you come off looking like a douchebag AND an idiot.
The correct way to say it is... "I Couldn't Care Less" not "I Could Care Less" Whoever says "I could care less" is a complete moran!!! If you COULD care less that means you care enough to have the ability to care less.. if you COULD NOT care less than you dont care at all which means you can't care any less than you already do.
sellout.woot.com had HDMI cables (relatively short) for $3 plus shipping on Monday. I bought 2 for a total of $11.
In this vein, "then" and "than" cannot be interchanged as if they were the same word, and saying "would of" is not the same as saying "would have"
Thanks, Vecsey. That was cool. Ummm... You meant 'moron', bladeage, didn't you? MINE: Know that "they're", "their", and "there" are a CONTRACTION for "they are", a POSSESSIVE FORM of "they", and an ADVERB, respectively. Learn how to use them, please.
no I meant moran.. I assume you were being sarcastic since I would expect you to get the reference. But in case you don't......
The mortgage "meltdown" or "crisis" isn't as big of a crisis as the media and the few companies it actually affects would have you believe. Especially in Houston. Normal lenders and borrowers are hardly affected, if at all. Its more of an "adjustment" back to normal lending practices of 4-5 years ago.
You're supposed to turn on your headlights when it's raining. It makes it hard for other cars to see you if you don't. I'm always surprised by the number of cars that drive around with their headlights off in a rain storm.
