Francis3, SoonerRockStro is probably out celebrating, but I'm in school so I can't do that.. so Instead i'm posting.

OU is a great team, better than UT I might add.

Mihm is a good player but I would rather have Najera cause he is more of the complete package and he has a houston connection.

    GO Rockets, GO SOONERS!!

I dont like Najera and I hate Mihm. Both players can not handle playing with the big boys. They will both become the next LUC LONGLEYS in the NBA. So forget it..

KENYON MARTIN IS THE REAL DEAL...

Sure feels sweet huh Rocketman. Beating the $hit outta Texass. Man, Najera handled them with a broken left hand and a sprained right wrist. All I can say is the numbers don't lie and Mihm is definitely a Luc Longley. The guy is phony who is pumped up by the media. Though he had a double-double, once again he was no-existant against OU. Eduardo does alot of things to get his teammates involved in the game. It just seems like Mihm wasn't even in the game tonight. Nothing personal Longhorns, just my opinion on Luc errr Chris Mihm.

Hmmm.. Broken Left Hand and a sprained right wrist. Well we see that he is already having injury problems like Luc Longley does.

Dude, you really don't know Eduardo Najera too well do you. He'll play with just about anything. He played with a stress fracture in his freshman year. Played with a concussion and a bloody mouth in the tournament last year and of course played with a broken bone in his left hand and a pretty sore right hand. My point is the guy's a gamer and he'll play through anything. I bet he plays with injury Cato or Rogers has. Cato had to sit out forever to get back and Rogers must be pretty bad. I don't care what you say Francis3, Najera's da bomb.

Hey, i've seen Eduardo najera a lot cuz im MExican, i just came here to New Otrleans LAst november
i agree with most of you, he is awesome, he can score, dribble, rebound and gets his teamates involved, i think he needs to improve in his quickness, if he does , he'd a great Small or power forward,
Wish the rockets could pick him, my guess is he will be between the 15 & 25 picks , if rox make it to the playoff, they should get him

I somewhat agree with Francis3. Mihm and Najera don't seem to fit the mold of what the Rockets are trying to build. The Rockets are building a fast, athletic team. I know Mihm doesn't fit that role, and I doubt Najera does either, although mostly all I've read on him is reports- I've never seen him play but once or twice. Mihm reminds me a little of Big Country Bryant Reeves. Not the kind of athletic player the Rockets are looking for. I'd pass on both unless one falls very far in the draft.

Not trying to start anything, but Eduardo is more athletic than people realize. He can the break with the best of them in the NCAA. He can throw down some Cato-like dunks too when he gets out on the break. Please don't reply Francis3, I don't feel like fighting you on this.

Eduardo Najera is sort of a throw back style of players. They guy never whines about the **** that everyone is crying day in and day out. The guy is a gamer and he puts his game face on the whole game and beyond.

But, I do agree with the anti-najera critics out there somewhat. I just don't see his game fitting with the Rockets plan. If the Rockets do go for him, they get a great player with no three point range and that is in college. He just might not be the piece to the puzzle the rockets are in search of.

But, for a marketing standpoint, this guy is pure gold (es oro molido). He will be marketed so heaviliy that money will fall out of les's wallet (if that could happen). Already in Mexico this guy is huge, a lot of the oklahoma games are covered down there, and it has been adopted as mexico's team.

If the Rockets get Najera, then the rockets must trade either Anderson or Mobley.

    That's a tough one!!! Naaaaaa!!!!!

But, seriously Najera can be very positive for any team that he plays for.

Najera, or El Hoopo as I call him is the Mailman of the big XII . He is good, but he is horribly dirty. I respect his intensity because he does whatever it takes to win. However, if u watched OU vs. Cincy you saw the OU team exposed. Najera is old for a college player and he is simply not athletic or strong enough for his game to translate sucessfully to the pros. I respect El Hoopo but Gabe is much better pro material.

Eduardo is not a dirty player. Just because he knocked Keyon Dooling on his head when he was going up for a dunk accidentally. Everybody in the country thought Eduardo was going for his head when he was really trying to block the shot. Ever since then he is thought of as dirty. But to Eduardo's credit, after the game Keyon said Ed apologized for hitting him on the head accidentally. Eduardo just plays hard and sometimes it may look like he's dirty, but he's just vieing for position. 99.9% of the Big 12 respects him as a tough player and a gamer. If you want to see a dirty player then just watch Gabe Muoneke. He actually punched a player in the gut in the middle of the game. He was caught red-handed on videotape. Eduardo kind of reminds me of Stockton and Malone, pretty much everybody thinks they are dirty. But are they? Maybe they are just tough, gritty players. Though Karl did punch Othella last year, so maybe that's not a good comparison.

Malone and Stockton are dirty just to clarify. About Najera, I dont think he will be able to play in the NBA. He just does not have the quickness (for the 3) or the height (for the 4) to play. He is better than Muoneke, but not near the prospect that Mihm is.

I was courtside at OU-Texas (in Austin) and El hoopo is so dirty....up close I really saw it. Every hook shot includes an elbow. By the way, El Hoopo may be a better college player than Gabe but he will not be a good NBA player. He's simply not athletic enough. I was at that game w/ my best friend ( a Sooner fan) and I am not surprised at your opinion. At least my buddy admits to El hoopo's tactics.
