during the 6 game losing streak, tmac was the faciltator for the most part, running the point a lot, creating plays.

the last 2 games: he's FINISHING plays. BIG difference

Yao is becoming a role player.
He can't find a balance between low-post offence and passing the ball out.
He is far from dominance like he was last season.
This team has no chance if Yao keeps playing like this, T-Mac can't lead this team to the final only by himself.
This is T-Mac's team, but Yao should be the most supportive strength.

agreed. we need yao to be a stud.

but he passed out too many times. one time he was 1-on-1 and passed across court to rafer. it's like he didn't even want to shoot tonight.

Both teams played poorly. TMac scored big, but how many shots did he take?! The Rockets won't win many games playing like this. This team still looks lost to me. Rafer had one of his RARE good shooting games, but most of the time when the SAME OLD starting lineup is in there, it looks like a 2 on 5 game. Battier misses a boat load of shots and Hayes rarely scores, SO the other team just collapses on Yao and TMac. Same old stuff. At present this team gets beat in a playoff series by every major contender in the West.

I thought it was supposed to be a 'motion' offense?

Poor Yao, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

BTW, judging from the games played today, I am getting a premonition.

The winds of fate have spoken... the scales have been lifted.

The NBA Finals contest will be played between... the Houston Rockets and the Orlando Magic!!! :D

    Book it :D

The problem is the rockets aren't running much of a motion anything for half of the game. They don't really know what they are doing out there and are just playing it a lot by ear experimenting with this and that. This anemic offense isn't going to go away for a while.

Wrong, it was the exact opposite. Adelman wanted him to take it.
