The season is here. If you celebrate Christmas, how is your Christmas shopping going?

Typically, I'm about 80% done with my kids gifts before Thanksgiving gets here, but this year, I got a late start. I actually started with my kids gifts yesterday and finished today. I managed to get my hands on a non-bundled system at Wal Mart...one of 6 that came in as I was driving in to check.

Now I can go and pick the little odds and ends for siblings, and get some jewelry for Tara.

i usually purchase most/all the gifts during october/early november. this way i miss the late november/december rush and the risk of an item being sold out. i remember last year i purchased a nintendo DS as a gift in oct. and they were sold out/hard to find in nov.

We're pretty far along. We do about 80% of our shopping online now, so it makes it much easier and takes out a lot of the stress.

I refuse to even really acknowledge Christmas until Thanksgiving arrives...I might get a few gifts early if an idea pops into my head and I don't wanna wait or forget. But otherwise, it's not Christmas season until Thanksgiving.

So...that would be a big 0% for me. And probably won't start until next weekend since this weekend is already busy.

"Hey, Falcons... what's the meaning of this?"
"It's what you need for Christmas, sis... a fence!"

I forgot about that...That fence was up the day before Thanksgiving...finally, some peace in my backyard...

I got one of 6 Wii's that came into a local Wal Mart...I'm fired up.

We collect stuff at 75-80% off and going out of business sales, then when birthdays & Christmas roll around, we go dig in the box until we find something more or less appropriate

Are you my brother? I got so screwed for Hanukkah this year (we did it over Thanksgiving since I live in Austin and the rest are in the Houston area). I got some stupid calendar (NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE A CALENDAR AS A GIFT) and an ugly jacket. I returned it to Kohl's today to find out that it was on clearance.
