maybe luther can be more like Richard Hamilton where he rounds around screens for open jumpers. He already likes to run around the court.
Funny how rofflesarus has yet to show up. Usually he's all over this board after a game. I just hope he didn't kill himself after seeing Steve perform so well.
my mistake...francis did play. i missed the other game so i didn't know Bonzi was injured. obviously francis' chances of playing would improve because of bonzi's injury and because it was a back to back game. hopefully francis can actually help this team and wont be relegated to the bench once Bonzi returns. i have full faith in Adelman and his rotation.
Steve would be a starter on any other team in this league not named Suns, Spurs, or Mavs. The fact that you were actually "micro-analyzing a PRESEASON game" shows how big of a douche you really are. Secondly, if it takes all those prerequisites to get Steve back into the game, why even get him back on the Rox in the first place? Obviously you lack foresight and still live in a delusional world where Bonzi will win 6th man of the year, Rafer/James are the best one-two PG combo in the league, and a 6-game losing streak is just a transitional period getting used to the new high octane Princeton offense.
it was great to see adleman is not stubborn like JVG and played a player who did come to training camp in shape. Francis did his work and now is getting rewarded. Luther Head has been playing pretty crappy for the most part and Francis should and did get the opportunity to play! Hopefully we can go on a double digit winning streak now!
that's exactly what i thought. we needed a 6 game losing streak to get francis in, and bonzi being injured. thats funny. i hope francis can help us though.
Luis? what kind of **** are you smoking? What ever it is, give me some!.... Fact is, Head has been playing for over 2 years in the NBA and still has no where near the talent Sam Cassell possessed in his rookie year. Head is a scrub, Cassell is a true champion, never needed anyone to create plays for him. His relentless, fearless and acrobatic drives to the basket and automatic clutch 3 point shooting has helped every team he was on make it to the playoff. Unfortunately, he has always been prone to injuries and his bad elbow has made him the most under rated PG in the NBA for years. Steve Francis is the new Sam Cassell. Our new spark plug off the bench! The New Subway Super Sub!
Last time I checked Sam Cassell turned into such a ballhogg that one Mr. Hakeem Olajuwon had his azz traded!
Everything is not good. If he is not able to shoot, the other team does not have to focus on him. So in reality you are playing 4 on 5 on offense. This only makes things worse on Yao and Tmac.
Anything that gets Luther Head off the court. The man has no business being in the regular rotation of a team that fancies itself a championship contender.
Agreed totally. I'm very curious what he's worth on the open market. You would think a fast team like GS, Phoenix, Toronto or NJ could hide him and his inadequacies and use him simply to kill teams with his three point shooting.
