I've been wondering the same thing. I mean, Francis is obviously in the dog house, but what in god's name did James do? I just want to know the mysterious love that JVG and Adelman have for this Luther Head.. I think he is completely trash! he can't do anything but jack up 3's, and he isn't even hitting them anymore.. the guy messed up on 3 crucial positions tonight (jacked up 3, turn over, wasted so much time then passed it to Deke) and the Heat scored on all 3 positions on the other end. all of that combined to his horrible defense, and we have ourselves an NBDL player getting major action on a team making a run for the championship.. just sad...

I think it's time for a meeting between Morey, Les, and Adelman (throw in CD for good luck) to get things straight. we definitely need a trade and a major adjustment to the rotation. I know it's early, but we are running out of time here, a couple more losses and we suddenly have ourselves in a big deep hole that we will have to exert all of our powers to dig ourselves out of. IF we make the playoffs after that, the players will be exhausted and BOOM, another 1st round exit..

the thing with Head is, the guy never gets involved in the game.. he is always lost, always trying to do more than his ability, and yet he DOESN'T want to get involved and thus hurt.. I mean seriously, does anyone recall a single injury for this guy in the past 2 seasons? NO, Luther Head was NEVER injured in his career with the Houston Rockets (I remember he had Hamstring cramps this one game, but he came back right after it). Every single player on this team has been injured some way or another, but yet Luther Head managed NEVER to get injured.. what does this mean? the guy shies away from contact, he is so concerned with protecting himself that he plays negatively on the basketball court. he never takes it hard to the whole, he never closes on his opponent on D, never takes the charge, never stands strong while defending the postup.. the guy just annoys the hell out of me because people get all pumped up on his shooting while he slaughters every single other aspect of the game of basketball..

Please Adelman, please, no more Head.. no more Alston.. please, they are just a pain to watch..

I don't think Head should be blamed too much.. he didn't play all game, then RA decides to call him in to be our savior. You don't play through the first three quarters, odds are you aren't exactly going to light it up in the fourth. Just terrible coaching decisions so far this season -- and it started with Rafer over Francis.

when is RA gonna realize you need a 3rd quality player to keep the pressure off Tmac and Yao Francis can do that, but hey no one listens to us fans that doesn't know any more than the coach right. RA is trying to stick a Cube block(system) in a Circle hole(personnel)

Mark my words folks, Steve Francis will play tomorrow. Mainly because we're playing a back to back game, and besides I have a feeling about this.

    Mark my words...

After watching this game, all i wanted to say:
    1,Alston sucks
    2,Yao soft
3,T-M,was that guy who scored 13' in a few seconds?

the only thing made me not disspointed so much is that Scola was doing well.

    Maybe, maybe not.

Adelman called Rafer a "perfect fit" after the first pre-season game and hasn't looked back. I've never really bought the idea Francis being so out of shape. IMO it seemed more like a PR way of saying he just isn't his preference. Same goes with comment he thought Francis was going to be the starter.

Not just a 3rd quality player - Battier qualifies there.

But a 2nd PENETRATING type of player, someon that can take advantage when the other team doubles Tmac and Yao....

We just need another player that can create offense. T-Mac can, Yao can to a certain extent and Bonzi can on some nights (3 so far I think). James can sometimes as well, but he doesn`t really make the other players better. Alston can`t, Head can`t, Hayes can`t, it seems like Battier could be he ain`t doing it and Scola is not there yet. Francis could take over games with T-Mac out. That is what we are missing.

What I really don`t understand: we are loaded with talent, why not always play the guys that have a good night, while limiting the minutes of the ones with an off night? When Rafer is playing really well he can play 30 minutes or more. When he is playing badly he shouldn`t be playing more than 10 minutes. Same goes for Bonzi, James and Head. Why not utilize all the guys we have?

Disgusted, Absolutely Disgusted! Below .500? Same staring five? Rafer getting most of the minutes? Everyone keeps talking about the defense, which is true. But, the offense can't score down the strech. Rafer gets left wide open all game, but can't get to the basket and can't hit a bucket. Rafer can throw up air balls, bricks and floaters. And when the pressure is on, he comes up lame. Oh Yea, he ran the offense well! B.S.!! He's a choker!! Chuck I love the hell out of this guy, but can't put any points on the board? So if Rafer can't hit any buckets and neither can Chuck, why have them in there with the starters? So teams can double up on Yao and T-mac? Plus add Battier, It might as well be 2 on 5 offensively. And I though Adelman was a offensive minded coach. Sounds like he's trying to impersonate JVG. I in fact didn't like JVG, some would call me a JVG hater, but JVG wouldn't have came up with a six game losing streak. He used defensive minded players for defense, not defensive minded players for offense. Where's the change? Puzzled!

rafer can go back to his playground and continue his legacy as a playground legend. But on the NBA court, he SUCKS. all the insane floaters, and last but not least, firing an open airball from 3pt after getting the ball back from a wildly missed prior 3 pt shot last night should conclude his pro career.
