I saw these two pics on sohu. Van talked seriously with Yao, which makes me moved so much. Jeff is a good guy. Without him, Yao would not have advanced so quickly.

Man, I wish JVG were still our coach. Adelman is ruining Yao.

Rick Adelman wishes he was half the coach that Van Gundy was.

Good to see assistant coach Gundy accepting his calling.

Just come back Jeff. I am willing to go to jail for murdering Rick just to vacate the spot.

Jesus Christ. I am the antithesis of all I stand for. But I agree. Bring him back. An identity is something special. Not many coaches can provide that. Van Gundy did that. I was always grateful for that. In the end a certain type of style usually prevails. Van Gundy exemplified that style. You can have Yao in the HP getting 6APG, the team can average 105ppg. I don't care. We need balance. This personell provides that. Adelman.... You don't have balls. Never did. 94 Rockets had big balls...

    you people are mad...

This is the same coach that still thinks as highly of Rafer Alston as he always has despite the current Rocket's personel..

The same coach that is STILL encouraging him to shoot the three whenever he has the opportunity to without hesitation and with "just live with the results" attitude.. from the announcers booth.. !

Same coach that overrates Battier as "one of the better perimeter defenders in the league".. now c'mon.. he's a decent 1 on 1 defender.. calling him on of the better defenders in the league? no.. And overrates Mike James.. as a PG that "creates opportunities with his penetration".. When Mike penetrates there really are only two things that can happen.. he either makes it.. or he gets blocked.. He rarely gets a foul call..and the only opportunity he's interested in.. is that of scoring.. Not to slight Mike's penetration.. but all it really contributes and adds to the team.. is a different look.. someone other than T-mac that can get his own shot.. he does not "creat opportunites with his penetration"..

And if you think Bonzi or Scola would be getting the PT they're getting now, with JVG, you're out of your mind.. This guy.. the times he has co-announced a Rocket's game.. one where Bonzi had an insane game against SA I believe.. and this one where Scola, for the third time, went off for 20 and 9.. has slipped into absolute shock.. That either of these two players could be capable of such numbers in such a contributing and well executed fashion (unlike bonzi's meaningless 20+ game versus the Celtics last year).. however inconsistent.. He was shocked that Scola actually possessed the skill he was advertised to have.. he was shocked he was even remotely athletic..

Let it go.. Going back will not help us in the slightest..

I'm still all for Adelman. Let's see him work at the playoffs before we say anything stupid. This board really needs to stop whoring themselves, yeessh!

Last year it was fire JVG, and now we want him back? Last year we wanted to get rid of Alston, then in the summer we liked him, then trade him again? Cmon guys. Adelman is what we have now, so at least try to support the new guy.

    JVG's offensive + Adelman's defensive = Rockets now

At this rate we are not making the playoffs.

Adelman has managed to make Yao into a worse player without making anyone else better, our offense is still stagnant, and we're now not playing defense.

I did not want Adelman hired at all. I knew the bad things that could happen with him as coach, and I have seen all of them, worse than I thought would happen.

Well, the pictures showed Yao still prefers JVG. I don't blame him.
The roster we had last year was not good and the bench is weak.
We could have won at least one game where the bench contributed
nothing if our bench is as good as this year. However, the trouble is
JVG may not played them (Scola, Bonzi, Steve, AB) will not get any chance)
at all. I wish JVG is not that stubborn. He might still be the coach if he is not
    that stubborn.

maybe we'll see JVG again if the rockets continue to play like that the next weeks.
