I went to a couple of Sears' as well as a CompUSA to try to get a price match on the 46inch Sharp at CC. They all told me that since CC no longer had any in stock, they wouldn't price match.
Well, that was my first BF experience, and it wasn't bad at all. Got a 40" Sony Bravio LCD for $800 from PC Richard and Sons in Paramus, NJ. The best part? Paramus has a law that stores can't open until 7AM, so I got to sleep a bit! Second best part? The store had tons of inventory (boxes of TVs stacked to the ceiling in the showroom), so there was no chance that they'd run out of everything. They actually let people in 15 at a time to keep the store calm and not too crowded. I was even able to get a salesperson to answer some questions -- that's how well they did crowd control! All in all, a calm, relaxed, and pleasant experience.
can anyone confirm this???? and does anyone know if they still have any?? I am getting ready right now, holy crap, a 19' LCF for $99 is freakin' insane!!!
the tv's were $199. i picked one up for my mom this morning, i think he just forgot to add a one in front.
I asked my gf 100x last night if she wanted to get up early for BF. She repeatedly said no. At 8 am she wakes me up and says she has a change of heart. I rush to get ready and we head out. Right as I pull into the mall parking lot my car starts smoking. Turns out my radiator has a problem. I tell her to go ahead and shop while I call AAA, get the car towed, etc. Three hours later I finally take care of everything and return to the mall to pick her up w/ my mother's car. By that time I did not want to do any shopping, unless it was at a liquor store so we go home. I could have lived w/out those 3 miserable hours and stayed in. Suffice it to say I am not having a happy Black Friday.
any good laptops out there online still? Looking to spend around 500 if possible. Dell had an offer going for $399 but looks like it has expired. Prefer HP but haven't found anything.
I got Bioshock for $25 at Best Buy. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but that seemed like too good of a deal to pass up, especially since I was wanting to play the game in the near future. The store wasn't as busy as I thought it would be (probably because I didn't stop by until the afternoon), but I wish I would have known that you could order the game online for the same price on their website.
I know it's not too exciting, but I picked up a Rocketfish bluetooth wireless keyboard @ BB for $39.99, originally $99.99. I had to stop by 3 Best Buys, but the third time was a charm. Now hopefully it'll work with the Wii...
Ok, I just got back from Best Buy where I purchased the same 46 inch Sharp that was $1,299 at CC this morning. This is it: Sharp 46" 1080P LC-46D64U Best Buy is having an un-advertised sale today on it for $1,399. There web site still says it is $2,299 but if you go in store and ask them to look it up the price is 1399. All of the stores in the area are out of stock, but they gave me free home delivery and it will be at my house on Monday. I'm pretty pleased with this deal! Now I just have to figure out how the hell to mount it on the wall. Any suggestions? Is it really difficult to do yourself?
They were sacking them up in front of the clothing section. I was walking by as they were stacking them up. I immediately grabbed 2 of the 50 or so the had put out. I walked over o pick up a dvd, I came back, and they were al gone.
I waited in-line to CHECKOUT at Fry's for 2 1/2 hours. Never again. I waited for 2 hours outside in the cold, raining weather at Circuit City. Never again. I got everything I needed, but from now on I'm online shopping.
