Oops, apparently the Rockets' franchise center is a bit of a JVG fan also. I haven't heard anything from McGrady yet, but if he chimes in too Adelman may be on the hot seat soon.

JVG had his chances. If Yao didn't want him gone he should have taken his game to another level vs the Jazz.

I wonder if we could have a defensive head coach, and a offensive coach like um, in NFL lols
Hire JVG as the defence side, and hire Rick for the offence

LOL!!! Yao doesn't give a **** about your opinion. At least he is getting angry while other players on the team are taking it easy.

Furthermore, it isn't about the system not working right away. It is the freaking loss of heart, the loss of intensity, and the loss of focus in the 5 losses that we had (except for the Spurs game). If the team didn't lose their focus or play half-heartedly at times, and if Adelman had made the right adjustments, then the loss wouldn't be so hard to stomach. Because of the way the losses came, the losses are HARD TO STOMACH, GOT IT?

What were you saying about clueless fans again?

If Yao was really mad, maybe he can start playing like he has heart, and quit wasting his war cries to the media and instead save it for the game

I was a big JVG defender last year, but people who are screaming that Adelman is doing a terrible job and we need JVG back ... just get a grip.

Look at our freaking schedule. Who have we lost to? The Mavs twice, the Spurs, the Suns, the Grizzlies, and the Lakers. We are now 2-6 against those teams, collectively. Three of those losses came without T-Mac in the second half.

Now, what was our record against those teams a season ago? 10-15. In other words, if we just go 8-9 against them the rest of the way, we'll match our record against them from a season ago.

We knew there was a good chance that the team would need an adjustment period. We knew that the defense wouldn't be as good. And when key players like Bonzi Wells and Mike James are struggling to shoot 40% from the field, the offense will look bad. It's not Adelman's fault they are playing so poorly.

They'll argue all the day long :D and in the end the team will be confuse of
which game plan. I't not going to work as each of them has their ego ..
JVG probably said .. if he's around I am not coaching and vice versa.

What do most of us in Clutchfans (actual coaches excepted) really know about coaching? ;)

exactly yao failed jvg by choking against the jazz and if he and mcgrady had balls and beat a team they were suppose to beat then he would still be their coach.

so thanks big pussycat but you should play like it when you care, maybe grab a couple rebounds in crunch time

Jesus, you need another karma consultation with Buddha! ;) Adelman is saddled with JVG players. I think his slow transition from a defensive mindset to an offensive mindset is frustrating for most of us but I have faith he will get there.

Rafer, Chuck and Shane's weaknesses have been exposed. I think (and hope) he will soon start trotting out the racehorses (Steve, Mike, Bonzi, Scola and Kirk) to help T-Mc and Yao.

The current lineup I see as most effective (but I'm not a coach) is Steve, Bonzi, T-Mc, Scola and Yao supplemented by James, Snyder, Battier and Deke.

Thank god Yao is not the coach.

I understand what Rick Adelman is doing, and when the team starts winning and gaining cofidence they will be alright.

Rick is trying to find a leader on the floor, because leading from the bench is never going to win a championship.

If Yao doesn't like it, then he should step up and lead the team.....and start punishing teams when they intentionally foul him....

Yao is one of the best players and his demeanor is one of the biggest failures of this current team, he is too soft.

At the start of the season, Pryuen posted an article about the writer asking Yao the prognosis of the team, and Yao told the writer that talk is cheap and they just need to prove it on the court. Now it seems that Yao is contradicting his own statement because now he talks too much! :D

It's out of charactor for yao to say this in public. Now looking back:

    tmac injured
yao had two 12pts 5 rbd games
    sf3 finally played
yao said hayes not effective without tmac playing
yao and coach RA had a private meeting
yao had a 30/15/6 game with tmac back and alston played his best game of the season, but we still lost
yao said in public he missed jvg

remember yao said he wanted kirk and vspan play more last season?

we have too many SPECIALISTS only effective when tmac is playing: alston/hayes/battier

enough already about the coaches, the change in coaches, dadakota's evaluation of who can coach and who cant coach...its a players league. stars win. we have played the hardest schedule in the league. we played without tmac for 2 1/2 games. we will rock the heat tonight and beat denver and then roll on the west coast...enough already

Exactly Yao Ming sounds more and more like a moron that isn't man enough to stand up on his OWN two feet and play 100% basketball while leaving it all on the floor. One of the players on this team must step up and be A LEADER and it won't be Yao or Tracy imo. The guy with the most heart, intensity and the guy that will leave it all on the floor every night is Steve Francis. Shane battier and hayes will to but they are not big time stars and have never been.

i dont respect yao going behind the backs of coaches and saying his mind to chinese papers only. if hes a man he needs to say it in english in public and not through third parties. but its only more proof as to why hes soft cause he cant speak his mind here he has to go hide behind his friends in china media

if yao say jvg stays then jvg would be here

    Yao is weak under Rudy

    Yao is weak under JVG

    Yao is weak under Adelman

    Yao is still complaining

Yao needs to stfu, grow some nutz and play better under pressure.

wasnt it yao who criticized JVG's rotation and style of play after the game 7 loss last year?
Thanks for the translation Pry, but some statements Yao made in this article seem odd.
