I've had a rotten 2007. But, I really do have a lot to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
I hope everyone enjoyed the day and I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. We had a relaxed afternoon here in the rimrocker household with the traditional Greenberg Smoked Turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes with a sweet pecan topping, and homemade apple pie a la mode. Yum.
Anyone camping out yet? I went to the CF bball court today and dunked with a couple of friends. Too bad the lights don't go on after dark. We were dunking and tripping in the dark.

Go rent a zombie movie. Pretend that every zombie who gets his head bashed in is your ex. Seriously though, that's a drag and to happen around the holidays compounds the misery. I know it's trite advice, but stick it out and you'll be fine after awhile. The good news is that it sounds like it was you who did the dumping, so take pride in that and come back stronger... apply the lessons you've learned about guys and yourself. I think these days it takes a couple of serious relationships before you find the "one" and are comfortable enough to take the "one" to the next level. Good luck.

I am thankful that I threw the WINNING TD to my nephew in the 3rd annual Backyard Brawl yesterday. I pump-faked left to my older nephew, my brother-in-law bit which left my younger nephew streaking down the curb (ie. right sideline) and I threw a LASER to him that he caught in the neighbors driveway (ie. endzone) for the 4th down score with no time left on the clock (ie. lunch was ready). My rocket-arm wasn't affected in the slightest by those 2 bottles of wine I drank. It was a beautiful thing. Too bad I can't walk this morning......
Be happy that you've identified and exluded another wrong one in the search for the right one. He's waiting for you somewhere and when ya'll meet this one will be no more than a trivial memory. Try to have a great holiday weekend.
