We have a game plan and my brother is camping out at CC tonight...Some friends and I split stores so we can get some stuff...But we're not camping out... We tried to buy some stuff on-line, but most of the stuff isn't available on-line...We you do a store locate for the Sharp TV, it shows all the store in Dallas don't have them "Out of Stock"...i though that was false advertising..Shouldn't they have at least one? Good luck to everyone...
Are people really setting up tents and camping out tonight???? Wow, I was driving about an hour ago down here in Winter Park,Fl and nobody is doing that down here.....
The Best Buy next to me in Sugar Land already has a line around the building It might just be me, but the BB ad sucks this year, so I don't understand why the line. I think some people just want a reason to camp out..
i drove by the best buy off fairmont pkwy around 7pm and there was already about 50 people in line....some with tents
im bout to leave in a hour to sit outside the Pearland Best Buy for a $35 MP3 player for my dad and a few DVDs. Nothing big this year, I've been doing this the past 7 years, next year I'm getting me a damn TV or laptop, should have my debt payed off by then.
My company is doing some Black Friday sales as well. Going live sometime tomorrow in the morning. http://callawaygolfpreowned.com/pop.aspx?pid=2007_4day_sale&gcid=c1504x720
I'll be shopping on amazon.com from the comfort of my couch in two hours, then I'll go to sleep and wake up at 11am and enjoy my day of staying-at-home.
They might have opted for a temporary disconnect to prevent people from reserving - buying online. It might be easier to just zero out the inventory numbers instead of letting you go through the order process and then either refusing your purchase because it was before the listed opening time (B&M) or citing that you must be in the B&M to do the purchase. Eventually they will have to physically count and reset their inventory numbers, but as long as it is kept to a small list of items (Door Busters), it wouldn't be difficult to do. If the store starts with 20 on display and has to pull 15 of those because the online shoppers have bought - reserved them before the doors open, it impacts their labor and productivity situation. If the Ad states that they will have 20 per store (B&M) and online shoppers are able to reserve - buy all of them beforehand, then it could be an ugly scene in the B&M when none of the Door Buster items are even available for sale when the doors open.
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Shar...190360/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do#availability Holy sh$$t Sharp 19in HDTV for $249! at circuit city. this is actually an incredible deal, its a good bedroom/dorm room size tv for games etc. Sharp is top 3 in LCD quality.
I bought this TV earlier online, gonna pick it up in the morning. I'm heading out to Fry's on 59 right now, hopefully the line isn't too long. *crosses fingers*
So you guys think if I borrow my friend's electric wheelchair I can cruise myself to the front of the line. I'm thinking I could score me a sweet plasma tv even though I just arrived five minutes before the store opening time. If you don't allow me to get to the front of the store in my wheelchair, I'll accuse you of being racist.
if anybody knows the pearland best buy, I'm in line amd my spot is right in front of old navy, been here since 1am. the line has condenced a bit, but no vouchers yet
