12 games does not make the season but damn where is the RA's offense. I have not seen it and I don't think the pg situation will get any better without; I hate to say it another damn trade. I don't like the offense it just does not have a flow of attacking the basket with back cuts or anything going to the basket. The offense is last year's let T-Mac do all the pg work.

If the Rockets should Fire RA, then who would you suggest they bring in other than JVG or Rudy T.?

If they made such a move this early in the season, I would prefer they brought someone else in other than JVG or Rudy T. because their respective offenses are too predictable.

    我只想问Adelman你的普林斯顿体系到底在哪里,已经磨合了这么长时间了,但为何一点都看不出来??

Under the same condition of T-MAC injury, Yao could get 30+ pts per game last yr. And now, he even cant touch the ball when T-MAC wasnt on court, with same teammates, oh no, we have more guys to play.
    Why?! Coach!!!!!!!!

This is the most profound post I've read in quite some time. (No joke.)

The Rockets have played about 15% of the regular season. Can't the mindless bloodthirsty hordes wait till January?

Jeff Van Gundy was never the problem repeat it after me. people just thoughthe was making the offense slow YET!!! Adelman is killing Yao's stamina and making Bonzi play more then he has to.

reminds me of the Knicks making Larry Brown the scapegoat when the real scapegoat was Isiah and the players.

    Just a thought...

Adelman has yet to give this team anything close to an identity. Something JVG established immediately.

Why is it so hard to understand that this team is still a work in progress? The system, coach and players are new to each other the same way it is to us fans. Everybody will gel, just give it time.

Anybody that expected us to come right out of the gate firing on all cylinders needs their heads examined. As does anybody actually condemning RA this early. Talk to me in May.

How on earth do you people keep expecting Adelman to build an effective offense with Van Gundy's role players? The problem is NOT in Adelman's X's & O's..he's made changes that help McGrady and Yao on offense.

The problem was created by Van Gundy (assisted by Morey) when they bought into the ridiculous concept of standstill spotup shooters and players who can't get their own shot but who could play team defense.

If Adelman has any revealed flaws in the short span of 12 games, it's that he trusts Van Gundy's personnel too damned much. He's got a lot of games yet to figure it out.

and by the way, this thread is ridiculous. heck, half the board seems to be ridiculous.

this team is installing a new complicated offense. this needs time, folks. the rockets will not be a top team until next year. i always laughed at the people who thought the rockets would win 60+ games this year. it's not that simple. this team needs time. it has shown the potential to be a great team. we've seen some glimpses. now all we have to do is to wait and be patient. we have to wait and see where we have to improve personell-wise. i expect the rockets to be at full strength around the all star break. and that will be a rockets team coached by rick adelman. a really great coach.

And we will start off this season not just 6-6 but over the next 5 games, I suspect we will be 7-10. This team just does not have it. They have not gelled. There are glaring deficiencies in the player rotations. Our starting point guards would not be starting on other teams. Hayes, our PF would not be starting on other teams but coming in sharing time with a real PF.

    The starting 5 should be:

    Francis
    T-Mac
    Yao
    Battier
    Scola

Bonzi or James off the Bench as your 6th man. At this point from what I have seen of James, I'd give the nod to Bonzi even though he played poorly against the Mavs.

what a terrible thread. Adelman is the least of our problems. it's the players that dont know how to get it done.

I'm not a big RA fan, but that doesn't mean we should fire him 12 GAMES into the season. RA is a good coach, not a great coach in my opinion and a lot better than any other name that came up over the summer; and even those were only because they had some sort of affiliation with the Rockets.

I've said it before, we are probably a 48-50 win team but thats not because of lack of talent or skill but rather the lack of chemistry and comfort with the new system. No need to hit the panic button just yet!

Worse JVG edition. How could you give two stars easy life with half starters no offence skill, who are even not bench materials in elite team?

The same starters should copy the same results? NO change, Adelman just hopes T-mac and Yao health whole year, then he will win more games than JVG did automatically. Isn't it piece of cake to be sucessful? man, I like that job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anybody have Alexander's phone number?

If you think head and james are going to jell in the backcourt together given time, you are just crazy.
