I'll be at the Rockets game against the Bucks next week. I have a feeling it will be a close game, or we get destroyed. The match up I'm worried about is Sam Cassell vs Moochie Norris. Moochie is in trouble. Also, I noticed that Joel Pryzbilla is playing well for the Bucks and is starting. I guess we got the bad end with Jason Collier. Will other ClutchCity.Net Fans show up?
The good thing is that you can buy cheap tickets and sneak down. Maybe we can motivate Cato by telling him he sucks.
I did not like the draft day trade of Prizbilla for Collier, but someone in another thread compared Collier to a younger Sabonis-potential wise. I guess they meant a good to great shooter with a center's 7' heighth. If Collier gets some playing time and can become a decent defender with an occasional rebound and blocked shot-this could be awesome. You never know how Clutch City .net will open your eyes....
Jason Collier, when healthy, is better than Joel Pryzbilla for the Rockets. When Jason comes back, and forces the opposing center to guard him closely, the floor will open up even more for KT, Cat and Steve. Add in the first round pick that the Rockets received that that trade, and we definitely got the better of the Bucks in the Collier/Pryzbilla trade (in fact, I don't think it was even a close call).
Joel P. is a better defensive player and rebounder than Jason Collier. I don't like 'if healthy' arguments. We got another Brent Price in Collier. Good for the 3 games he plays during the season til he's permanently on the IL. We should retire Cassell's jersey. He deserves it.
What about Griffin? Didn't the trade indirectly facilitate the acquisition of EG? ... damn, "indirectly facilitate the acquisition" - I feel like I should be on CCN or somethin'.
I don't know if Griffin came out of the Bucks/Rockets deal. But, I wish we had Hakeem to mentor Griffin. I don't like him jacking up shots like he's Cuttino. I'd like to see Eddie in the low post with some spin moves. Can't we get a backup point guard besides Tierre Brown to help gets some wins? Where's Eldridge Recassner??
Look at my prediction earlier in the week! I knew it would be a good game. The Rockets pulled out all the stops despite a strong showing by Cassell. Also, I noticed how the crowd showed Cassell much love. I'll never forget the YOU not Hakeem got us 2 rings!! Cutino was off the hook! Its about time Cutino!!
