According to channel 13, Kenny Thomas may be out for Tuesday's game with (ouch) a knot on his groin. He had a strained one going in, and then got hit by Mobley going for a loose ball. (Insert joke here).
Somehow this Kenny Thomas attracts bad luck...first he gets bitten in the face by a dog, then Mobley twists his balls...what's next??? Will Francis run over his foot running a red light...will Mo burn his butt with a joint...poor Kenny...
This is just unbelievable. If Walt doesn't play on Tuesday and Cato continues to be out, the Rockets will only have 8 players available on Tuesday. If they lose one more, they would be below the league required minimum of 8 players available for the game. Since their roster is full with 15, they would have to dress out an injured player and sit them on the bench. Wow!
I'm not sure how groin injuries accumulate (wrong word, so sue me ), but KT also suffered a groin injury during his senior season here at New Mexico. He sat out 4-5 days during that injury. Lobo_Louie aka Urlacher
How much more ridiculous can this possibly get? With the current situation being what it is, the only way I can possibly imagine getting fans into the building will be to entertain them. It'll be embarassing, but entertainingly so. Here's what we need to see: STARTING LINEUP: 1 Tierre Brown 2 Oscar Torres 3 Terrence Morris / Dan Langhi 4 Eddie Griffin 5 Jason Collier Just throw 'em in there and see what happens.
hey Jeff, if it's serious enough, I believe the Rockets can petition the NBA (like the Warriors have done before) to place extra players (beyond the normal 3) on the IL and sign someone to take their place. Not necessarily what you want to happen, but it may be what it comes down to for the Rockets given the way things are going. And who knows, maybe the team can find another Oscar?
