To be honest I would like to see less of Yao and TMac on the floor at the same time. I feel like the team loses its identity with both of them. Start and end games with Yao+TMac, but try to stagger their minutes a little bit more.

Well, minus the last few games, the bench guys have done a good job giving the team an offensive boost. So by that logic:

James, Bonzi, T-Mac, Battier, and Scola to start the game.

Francis, Hayes and Yao coming off the bench. Alston and Head getting leftovers.

That would shake things up.

Yao obviously said that as a joke, and drew a good laugh from the reporters, who commented that his jokes were better than theirs.

Of course, given the replies so far many so-called Rockets fans seriously want Yao on the bench. Let's see how they'd respond if McGrady goes into a slump.

mcgrady has nothing to do with this topic. Quit trying to make this T-mac vs Yao, especially when you know there is very little chance either will be benched.
