So chow_yun_fat's thread earlier today about salt water taffy made me want some. When I went to lunch I picked up a package of Wonka Laffy Taffy, since I'm sure it's the only kind of Taffy they have here on the UH campus. I got the watermelon kind, and when I opened it there were hard black spots on it that look like beans. And it smells nasty. I'm trying to figure out what it is, anyone have a clue? My roommate graciously took a picture of it with her webcam.
My roommate and I can't stop laughing. It looks effing nasty. I just googled it and they are, in fact, watermelon "seeds." thanks for the help.
Damn, I thought this was going to be a Laffy Taffy joke thread. This is the only Laffy Taffy joke that ever made me laugh out loud: Why does a chicken coop have two doors? If it had four doors, it would be a chicken sedan.
From my Laffy Taffy 2 weeks ago: What do you call Lassie carrying a Carnation? Cauliflower (Collie Flower) Totally unrelated: A three legged dog walks into a bar and says "I'm lookin' fer the man that shot my pa(w)!"
I have actually made up a better cauliflower joke than that a long time ago. Q: "Why did the eggplant buy a phone?" A: "He wanted to cauliflower. (call a flower)
