First of the expectations for the Rockets where sky high after the Francis trade. Then pippen screwed up a decent trade for the Rockets which still is good but could have been better.

Then the horrible start by the Rockets make us question the season but not lose hope. Then Hakeem is out with the surgery. Then the Rockets start winning without Hakeem. The Rockets go on a role and win some very tough games. The hopes go up once again.

Then the round mound of Rebounding goes down for the season. The rockets again struggle for the longest time.

I go on vacation hoping that when I come back everything is back to normal. But I come back and they still suck.

All hope is lost. Everyone is dreaming of the lottery. None of you say it but hope the Rockets tank for the rest of the season (and don't lie, that's why all of you all voted that the Rockets likely will be in the lottery come season's end.)

But then a 6 game winning streak picks all of you all up. Everyone talks playoffs and championships. Then a three game losing steak follows; and everyone is back to the lottery tank games mentallity.

Now the Rockets just beat the best team in the NBA in a real nba game; it wasn't the magnificent or pretty but it was effective; it was Rocket basketball.

    A wierd season ahh!

    What else can happen?

How about winning a Championship??? [IMG]

As you said, Vince, this has been an up-and-down season for the Rocket boys. Tell you all the truth: I've been always up for the playoffs, even when we had couple 5-game losing streaks and the recent 3-game one. There's always hope!

More to add to this weird season: now Charles said he might join us at the end of the season and play a few games.

    Isn't that sweet? [IMG]

If dreams came true, then Barkley would be back at the end of the season and the Rocks would be the first 8th seeded team to win it all giving Barkley his first and only ring.
