T-Mac every god damn time. Yao is not reliable to go to late in games. He might just turn it over. I'd rather have Tracy create and get to the free throw line or have him find someone else who is open. Bottom line, the ball should be in Tracy's hands everytime in crunch time.
We should be blowing people out not making last seconds shots. Anyway i voted for head, his the most clutch player for us last season.
Obviously T-mac, if a rushed shot is needed, he's the only one on the team who can create his own shot and shoot off the dribble. Everyone else needs to be set up.
whoever tha open person is. If Rafer is wide open from tha perimeter he should shoot it. I jsut want tha best shot possible goin up.
The only person you can say should have the shot, no matter who is guarding him is Tracy. He is the only person who can handle the dribble and creating his own shot with a good chance of it still going in. Players that should be able to hit the open three, and should get the ball in the waning seconds if they are open: Luther Head Mike James Shane Battier Steve Novak Yao could probably get his shot off with as good a chance of going in as anybody else, but the defense is likely to swarm him so he obviously can't bring the ball up, must establish position and then receive entry pass. The swarming defense means that he will likely have to pass, rather than turn it over. Players that should never get a game winning shot, if it can be helped: Rafer Alston Chuck Hayes Dikembe Mutombo Bonzi Wells
This is a stupid question, it should always be the player who is in the best position to score. Coaches always draw some kind of plays for the last shot, and the play usually results in several options/opens, so whoever ends up with the best opportunity should take the shot.
You can vote for anyone you want, but as long as rafer is on this team he will ALWAYS have that last shot.
Yao in the last minutes of a close game. For me Tracy is the very last shot. Luther if Tracy doesn't have it. Dude has shown to be clutch, and is arguably our best shooter. Just watching him in shootarounds, he seems to hit a much higher percentage of shots than the other players. But eh, Luther gets only 10 mins a game when Tracy plays.
