    Steve is this year's V-Span.

I haven't thought Francis has handled things well after signing, but I think he did a pretty good job last night. One of the most important parts that the article didn't mention was that he didn't have any turnovers in 23 minutes of play.

I think that fact alone should earn him some playing time. That's the main value Rafer has is that he has a good assist to turnover ratio.

I think he meant it as a complement to Steve. As in Steve is getting unfairly benched like VSpan supposedly was.

Let's see. JVG didn't want him.Magic didn't want him. Knickerbockers started a 5'9 guy in front of him. Trailblazers really didn't want him. And Adelman would clearly rather see other players, even shooting bricks on the court. Why would any Rockets fan (that wants to see the Rockets win) want Steve Francis on the court? Do you guys really know more than NBA teams? I mean really; I know I know more than most NBA coaching staffs and GMs do, but I don't think most of you guys do. Really.

SF3 can still play, the sunday's game demonstrated it, do not know if he will be on the floor again after TMac returns.

We only traded him because we can get T-Mac. Steve was killing with the Magics till they traded away every decent players on that team. And he was injured most of time when he was with Knicks. Trailblazers didn't want him because Steve has no intention to play on a rebuilding team.

    Stop drinking em haterades!

    Flashback to November, 2006:

How frustrating it must be to watch Rafer Alston continue to shoot so poorly yet still get minutes.

VSpan knows he owns Rafer, that he is miles better.

    That must be unbelievably frustrating.

Rafer's shot may be bad, but he's not a bad point guard.

And it's not like they're playing a game of horse.

I'd rather win games and let Steve get into shape elsewhere.

You guys have some blinders on. He shot crappy. It seemed like he would rather shoot long jumpshots than take it to the hole and he also got away with a charge.

I think when the schedule gets lighter we'll see more playing time for everyone...

Doubtful. Coaches dont go with 12 man rotations, or even 10 man. Usually 8-9 man.

For the love of god, don't bring up The Greek, DD!
Francis may be many things, or not, but whatever the hell he is, he doesn't deserve this!
