Reading the first few posts in this thread I was thinking please don't let it be our star player, please don't let it be our star player.. what a nightmare if it's true...
The longer this story takes to break the more my doubt grows. If it's true, for example, that Francis got a DWI or DUI the networks would be all over each other trying to be the 1st to break the story. I can't see the networks waiting for the NBA or the Rockets to stage a press conference. Even if it were another player I can't see them waiting this long...
Doubt all you want, Dylan. I hate that it is true. He was pulled over for running a stoplight/stop sign on Westheimer last night. Released this morning. OS
But if it were in relation to DUI wouldn't the police report say something to that effect? Can the police wait to charge someone till the next day? It just doesn't make sense that if there were any offical charges or even anything on the police report about DUI that the press would hold off on it...
This is certainly turning into the nightmare season. Key players injured, caught abusing drugs, DWI's, in house fighting, management being slammed by former player and by key free agent. All of this before christmas. What could possibly be next.
I just want to make clear that I'm not trying to call out Old School or call him a liar. I think he may be wrong or have incorrect info but hell I don't know either. It just surprises me that there hasn't been much word about this at all...
is the CC.net front page credible enough? Old School also scooped the MoTay news. OS-Any news if the Rockets are trying to keep this quiet, or if they'll address this?
Not if the only thing they're going on is Old School's scoop. If I made up a story and someone else repeats it based only on my story it does not become more credible... Yeah, I know. That's why I have no doubt that he's being truthful. The only doubt I have is that he was given incorrect info, not that he's trying to scam us.

The clippers trade looks good, outlaw. Not the Washington one though... My sources say Steve is the hethonistic one in question also...
So who/what is your source Old School? I figure the Houston media hasn't run this yet because they're out covering the really important stories, like which strip clubs are violating the three foot rule.

I would never tell who my sources are. I wouldn't have posted something like this unless I was 100% sure. I try not to deal in rumors. Hopefully the Chronicle article I just posted will be all the confirmation you need. I suspect the tv stations will have more when their shows air tonight. OS
