Well Adelman gave Alston and James 10 games to get their act together. That's a long enough run. Time to make changes so kudos to Adleman. 1/8 of the season down. 7/8's to go.

The rockets have alot of good pieces that adelman has to fit together.

Scola can post up,he can pass, He can hit the midrange shots,he's triple threat in the high post.Scola and head ahve great chemistry and can make many plays running pic n roll together.

Steve francis can still get to the basket at will, he can create for himself and Team.

The key with the TEAM is DEFENSE guarding the 3 pointer and challenging shots. On the offensive end it's finding the right players who play well together with chemistry so execution can be better. Plenty of talent but it's up to rick to make the pieces gell together.

oh yea, compare us w/ guys who fit perfectly into that system. amare/marion/nash all like to run. and d'antoni implements a run-and-gun system. there's NOTHING to learn in that system for them.

us, we have to find ways to get yao the ball in this new system. yao has to learn to be at the high post. tmac has to learn to move w/o the ball (which he rarely does b/c he still has to create since others just now finally learns how to move/cut). the otheres generally have not played in this type of motion offense before.

if you don't see our potential, then you're just a boxscore type of fan.

and I do blame yao. he's just not getting it done. he is not a superstar-meaning he can't carry a team by himself-but he's a great complimentary star. probably the best complimentary star in the game. tmac can carry a team... but I still question his consistency.

if this year doesn't work out (ie less than second round) we need to trade for a 3rd star. seems like the right thing to do. I'd say battier/james/brooks/bonzi for chauncy billups.

Look at the Suns starting lineup:

    PG - Steve Nash
    SG - Leandro Barbosa
    SF - Grant Hill
    PF - Shawn Marion
    C - Amare Stoudemire

That's 5 loaded guns... all of them can score in a variety of ways. I wonder if Suns fans insist that only Nash and Stoudemire should shoot the ball, or that the other three should come off the bench because they keep Nash and Stoudemire from shooting the ball.

um NO. last yr, he performed ADMIRABLY w/o tmac (albeit in losses). but last yr, not every team fronted him like they have done this yr.

as u saw v. the spurs, when they played him straight up, he scored with ease.

but now it seems like every teams front him. thats why he's struggling. but he carried us very well w/o tmac last yr.

lol yeah comparing us with a team that fits the system. WE DONT FIT THE SYSTEM hahah

I'm tired of the word potential. we don't have the time for potential. and even if this so called potential DOES exist, you're crazy to think we can get it done this year. we're just not good enough, and whether that means we're not used to the system or just not talented, it's just not gonna happen this year.

Yep. This team will not win the same amount as last year. Our shooting is horrible and we forgot how to play defense.

This is some flim the other team are watching of how to play defense over Yao.
Go for his elbows when he is shooting reach and knock the ball out his hand.

Did someone have the picture of the Flop of Nash over Yao.

Is like Yao gets call at least once a game with a flop. that is like a -1T.O. a game.

I'm surrounded by suns fans and I can tell you they are comfortable with whomever takes the shot. They never say things like "no don't shoot" or "give it to nash!"

But I will say this, like with Tmac, if Nash gets hurt then the suns are done. 100% of suns fans know that Nash makes this team tic. However, we still have Rockets fans who think we are ok without Tmac. Thats the main difference I see out here.
