1) IT IS OFFICIAL: SCOLA HATH BEEN AWAKENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2) Steve Francis!!!! Great passes, many that won't show in the stat page. Hard fouls. Jumping out of the building for rebounds and block attempts. Penetrating...the best seen as of yet by guards other than Tmac. And he's only getting started. He's playing safe to secure minutes in the future. 3) Mike James and Luther Head have returned! 4) Bonzi. Dude. Put backs and easy lay ups off the glass is like your bread and butter, man! Your'e on the milk carton but we know you'll be found again. 5) rafer. pffffft. 6) yao. shake it off. get some sleep.
According to Phix Tv that I was watching, 4 games in 5 days for Rockets, speically for 7'6" Yao, it is really tough schdule. So, stop blaming Yao! Good news, no injury for Yao and other rockets, when Tmac come back next week, plus new Scola and SF3, we will be a great team.
haha...i never get burned. your the one using the +/- stat as an argument, which is the most useless stat in the history of stats.
I disagree about Yao playing weak. He's had a history of playing bad against the Suns. The speed and the small ball takes away from his game. It's all about matchups. Yao can still dominate against 90% of the teams in the league.
I am not buying this argument any more. T-mac and Yao have both beat the spurs with one of each other being injured. Don't get fed up cuz t-mac has led this team to victories when yao is out. Also, Yao has done the same. Bottom line, we need both, so hating on either player doesn't help
when the suns got nash and implemented a new system, they went 33-4 or something. our offense looked like there was movement in the preseason, but I don't even see anything to build on. I think adalmen has realized that our players aren't fit for his offense, and has resorted to the isolation plays that are ultimately shallow and can't make us great.
Yao is a nice a player, If some reach like that (almost everytime) I just have to pivot a put my elbows right into his mouth. everybody will stop reaching
ughh,....contrary to popular belief, we really are still gelling. i'm glad we are switching up the minutes now. i'd rather take losses and get everyone developed instead of grinding out wins and have people completely excommunicated and end up being our achilles heel.
The four biggest positives of tonights game
4. We now know that AB has alot of potential down the line for us in a year or two, but not now in this team because of the depth issues.
3. Clyde did an outstanding job of announcing. He was virtually flawless. I think Bullard and him even each other out. They should do the tri-broadcaster thing more often
2. Luis Scola is the real deal. His offensive game is so complete and he isn't showing his full arsenal yet because of the adjustment period
1. Steve Francis just proved his naysayers wrong. Sure he missed some shots, but this was his first game in a while. He penetrated hard and dished very well. He also defended a hell of alot better than rafer, mj, and luther. Who says Steve has nothing left? Who says Francis is out of shape? Who says IT'S TIME STEVIE? Francis is for real, just give him time.
I agree with this. But Yao is solid with Tmac on the court. He just melts down mentally when he is asked to carry the load.
So we went from being 6-1 to 6-5? And a great chance chance of being 6-6 after the Mavs game? Same ole Rockets I guess. We will not get passed the 1st round with our poor shooting and the PG situation.
