Yao looks out of sorts. He needs to take the ball strong to the hoop and draw the fouls. Cut down on the short jumpers and drive it in there.

Without Scola being how (and James) we would already be dead in the water.

Rafer, James, and Stevie all looking pretty good. We're getting killed b/c our D sux. Just like last night, too many open 3's for the other team.

GOOD:We only have 4 TOs. Our bench is stepping up. Phoenix is shooting 73% but we're still sort of in this game. If we step up the D and they drop in their FG% (they can't shoot 73% all game, can they), then we can cut into this lead. We had a great start of the 3rd Q last night against the Spurs, let's do it again tonight.

Everyone who is bad talking Yao are a bunch of idiots. Even Kobe Bryant has bad games.

If suns plays like first half, we will have no chance to win the game. They are punching like in the shooting practice. I don't think any team in the league is able to defend them if they keep such a high pace and shooting rate.

Take it easy on Yao....He has no answer for this team...It's Adelman's job to recognize Yao is NOT effective againt the suns and run a smaller team. He needs to put Steve and Luther back in...Leave Scola in the whole game...Only if he gets hurt or fouls out should scola leave the wood tonight.

Not necessarily. Marion does an excellent job defensively on Tmac.

Yao played bad. But nobody can stop the Suns when they shoot 75%.

I say trade Yao for Kobe. If Kobe is in this game instead of Yao, he will hell score more than 1 pathetic points. Trade this softee!

    It was 100% ball.

Yao is exposed. Without Tmac, he's simply useless. No way can a team with Yao as the #1 option do anything.

Nice first post. You don't have to be a Rox fan, you know?

yao is really miffed about the refs right now from the last game. yao needs to shake it off and step it up. no other option.

oh, wait. get a T. but not yao. adelman.

yo unholy statistic freaks, who can find the # of Ts on adelman in his career? that would be very impressive........

Glad to see Steve on court. He's a little rusty since this is his first start of the season but he looks much better than Rafer and Head. Just need some playtime consistently. Yao need to be more confident. I think Bonzi is missing a lot of shot/lay up and the perimeter defense need to be better Those Suns are shooting the lights out.

Forget about YAO. He is obviously not the key to the win of this game. Our offense is rather good even without YAO's contribution. The problem is on defense end.

I know that 80% feels like an exaggeration, but not far off at all... 73%.

It's ridiculous, we aren't playing bad at all, keep it close, and then they just hit three after three after three.

So many positives in this game going to waste... Mike James is shooting great, Scola is starting to show off his post game and still connecting on those midrange shots (he doesn't miss!), Rafer is attacking the basket instead of settling for the floater, Luther's knocking down shots, and we even got to see Stevie. Seems like a GREAT night! But we're down 12, at half.

Only negatives so far are Yao and Bonzi, both of whom are missing some of the most point blank shots that they will get all year. Steve also clearly needs some more PT before he's in game shape, but he hasn't looked too bad.

I guess its still progress on a young season, but a four game losing streak will really hurt...
