Right now with Francis down, Oscar is the best player on this team.

Im not really sure that I can say he is the best player on the team right now with Francis out, but I can say that he is pretty close to where Mobley is. Im really hoping that when Francis comes back they start Torres at 3. Unless Rice's time out refreshes his shot, Im not completely comfortable with him in the lineup. I think it would be much better if Rice was our sixth man. Torres is playing too well to head back to the bench when Glen comes back, I hope Rudy agrees with me. Like I said before, I think Torres could be one of the runners up for ROTY. As Isiah Thomas put it in a post-game quote, "He’s one of those guys the Rockets always seem to find. He’s a good find.”

Guys, how good can Oscar be?

Let's say he stays with us all season. Obviously, he's not gonna be this good ALL season. But plays well, makes the Rookie game. By the end of the season, his english will be acceptable, right? If, in the ofseason, he works 60% on his ballhandling skills, and 20% on his driving and 20% on posting up, how good can he become?

Yes, I know he's not gonna work out all summer. But I mean that percentage of the time he works out.

We'd be locked for 6 years at starting and backup guards if that happened.

    Francis/Mooch
    Cat/Torres

Isn't that great? Our starters have the comfort of great backups.

One problem with your statement. Moochie is probably the worse backup PG in the NBA this year. From Denver to the Clippers, from Sac. to San Antonio there are so many backup PG's that make Moochie look like he belongs in the CBA.
