Wow, I did not know there are so many Yao-haters out here. Spurs are a little too much for us to handle without TMac, and it really should not be a surprise for anybody. Yao played a decent game, and he absolutely fought hard the whole night. If ball can not be passed to his hands, blame it on the poor game plan by RA, and inability of our guards to pass the ball and make correct decisions.

There are two problems shown in this game and neither of them has to do with Yao. One, if it is so simple to stop Yao by just fronting, then there is something seriously wrong with our game plan. RA should well implement some counter strategies in our system, but it did not seem so. Two, I am now convinced that without our current guard group, there is no chance we can go deep in the playoffs.

Although it is very encouraging to see Scola having his first break-out game. But again, without good guard plays, no matter how good your bigs are, you will not go to the top.

Well he couldn't get the ball and ended up with a poor game, but it wasn't for lack of trying. The effort was there, the gameplan/execution wasn't. I think today he was more pissed than in any game I've ever seen him.

JVG to Yao, You are the master of cliches. :D

What happened to that cornered animal once he referred us as in the Dallas series. The animal was shot dead 40 times. :D

Just kidding. I love Yao. Love his emotion. It's time to walk the walk.

I thought that Yao had an apartment Downtown and a house in River Oaks. If this is so, why would he be going on highway 10? Unless he was going home to Moms :p

I cant find any confidence and ambition from Yao's war cry.
Seem like a coward said to himself that I felt a little bit of scared, but i would try to overcome it.
But one thing must be keep in mind, Rox is well regarded as one of the best team in this league which has chance to win championship.
You don't have to afraid any team in any situation for the sake of a champion heart.
Supposed Kobe Brant faces the same situation as Yao's. Guess what he would say? I believe firmly his rely is totally different.
In a word, Yao made me disappointed, no matter his lack of confidence war cry
    or his tonight painful struggle.
Maybe it's not necessary for us to blame anyone or complain anything, we just have a large span away from ace team.

Poor Yao. He isn't the type of player to lead a team. Those of you who put that responsibility on him aren't fair. He needs Tmac, we won't win until Tmac comes back.

Yao is a very good role player.

yeah, when Tmac comes back, we really can win some games, but have no chance to win champion. I strongly suggest that we should trade Tmac for Kobe... KOBE+YAO = Champion title

Sealing his man doesn't help when there is backside help.

He has carried this team when McGrady was injured before. I didn't know Rockets fans like to spout ESPN Yao hate circa 2005, but apparently it happens.

Come on guys, let us not blame Yao for the lost to the Spurs. They are the defending champions. I don't think T-Mac could have done the same tonight if Yao were injured. We are talking about the team that won twice as many championships as the Rockets in only 9 years.

Please provide an example where he carried this team when Tmac was out. What is our record with Tmac out? It is AWFUL.
