This is a very important game for rockets. Because Scola finally won his credits just like Yao's 10/10 game against Lakers in his first season.

spurs are really good at driving and kicking, especially when manu is running that screen and roll.

Yao sure is turnover prone when hes not getting the calls.
the last block by Duncan was clearly a foul.
the steal by Ginobili was a foul.
    Refs took over again.

we are still not a top team like the Spurs/Mavs, at lease before we actually comprehend the new offense system.
On the other hand, our D is fading. seeing the Spur's defense rotation is really an enjoyment, but our D is going away with JVG...
RA should put YAO on Duncan from the beginning, Duncan was like 6/8 over Chuck/Scola.

who still thinks yao guarded TD on offense side? it is silly

Everytime we miss Tmac, we lose just 3 or 5 points. Yao is not the solution of a win.

6 FTs in the entire game. Is that a NBA record?

Yao is getting roughed without getting any calls. He didn't go for the basket a couple times when he's single covered by duncan, which is really bad idea.

Mike James made two terrible decisions and killed the momentum at the beggining of the 4th quarter

Great team effort! Thank you Scola for the breakout performance!

But you knew we couldn't close this game out without Tracy. :(

It's OK. I feel a lot better now than after the Grizzlies loss. :)

What's up with Adelman? Why did he have Luther Head in the game to guard Manu Ginobili? Why didn't he give Steve Francis a shot to give us some penetration without McGrady? Why did Rafer and Luther get McGrady's extra minutes? Did they earn them anymore than Francis?

    Just a lot of questions...

It's so ironic that before the season started we thougth pg is the deepest position in our roster. Now it's like a joke.

some of yall needs to chill

    did everyone forget that

we were loosing only 2 points nearing the end

PLAYING THE CHAMPIONS ON THIER HOMECOURT WITHOUT TMAC???????

its very hard to execute plays to perfection every single time

PLUS SCOLA played brilliantly ---- now when mac comes back

our team is going to be great

Hmm, did you watch the same game I did??

If the role players play like this, and the offense flows as much as it did when T-Mac comes back the team will be very very good.

Losing by 6 to the NBA Champs without your best player, doesnt sound very mediocre to me.

What's wrong with the coach? Not shooting a 3 for the last chance?

One thing for sure these games will give Morey the motivation to make a trade because it is the play of the guards that have been killing the team.

before rush to that conclusion, I have to remind you that we beat the Spurs last season at their homecourt witout T-mac.
Anyway, your argument seems to be the other version of :T-mac rides on YAO to win. ;)

Although it was a hard loss, it was a really important game: people started to step up. Battier and Scola can be major contributors to this team when they have to. They just kinda take a step back when T-Mac and Yao are playing. They need to build on this performance and continue to play like this when T-Mac is back.

James, Alston and Head didn`t really have bad games, but they played really stupid at times. Why the early 3 pointer Luther? Why not take the 3pt at the end Rafer? But we can live with their performance, when T-Mac is back or when Bonzi is having a good night (which he didn`t have tonight).

Still, without T-Mac, with Yao having a pretty quiet game and Bonzi having a major off night, we were still in the game to win it with under a minute to go against the NBA champs on their home court. We can live with that loss!

    Now, where is Steve ;)
