This is such a BS thread. One guy saw that Francis MIGHT NOT have had his jersey on under his warm-ups (nobody here knows the real truth, and frankly, nobody should CARE), and all of a sudden he's "blowing his opportunities", and he's "a complete idiot." Seriously, if there was even a remote chance that he was gonna play last night, you BET he would have sent one of the trainers into the locker room and gotten his jersey. I don't understand what it is about Rockets fans that makes them freak out about the smallest, most insignificant occurances during a game. I'm just glad that Yao wasn't involved in this, otherwise we would have 12 threads dedicated to it.
If he was wearing the jersey and the other posters were wrong then obviously this thread is pointless. If he wasn't wearing it, then saying it only takes a few seconds to put one on is besides the point. If you aren't wearing your uniform during a game that shows unprofessional behaviour and that you aren't prepared to do your job. Besides IF he wasn't wearing it at all there would be no reason to believe he would have it with him on the bench. Any way I didn't see it either way, I just found it interesting that a few people said they noticed him just having his white under shirt on under the warm up and then blamed that on Adelman having told Francis he wasn't going to play. Considering the pre game shoot around photos posted in some of these threads also show him with the white shirt and no jersey I didn't consider it that far fetched. Certainly it seemed like a more reasonable explanation than "Adelman doesn't like him".
Sure Snyder can guard Kobe and get roasted and toasted every time Kobe touches the ball. It depends how loose your definition of "guard" is.
I'm the person that's quoted in the first post, saying that Steve didn't have his jersey on under his warm up. I apologize if that information is incorrect, but I had reason to believe it was true. As soon as the game was over the camera showed Steve walking around in a wife beater and I did not see a jersey in his hand. If he did give it to a fan, it must have been in one heck of a hurry. Another reason I believed it to be true is that I remembered someone saying they witnessed a similar "no jersey" situation after at least one other game. Again, if I was incorrect I apologize. If, however, I was correct and Steve neglected to wear a jersey because he didn't think he'd play, then that's just dumb. Anything can happen and you can have your number called without notice...you know, like maybe an injury to one of the two superstars.

I heard from a good friend of mine who's brothers cousin watched the game online, that Francis was actually wearing a Cynthia Cooper jersey, and thats why he's an idiot who blew his opportunity....and he's a communist.
you have to remember that Tmac got hurt before the half... If Steve thought that he might have a chance to play then he could put it on during half time... He will play soon enough...
Wasn't this addressed in another thread? I recall another thread where someone was accusing Francis of not wearing his jersey and wearing a black wifebeater instead. From that other thread I think that was debunked when T-Mac at the end of the game also had a black wifebeater on too.
Is it possible that Steve got himself an internal team suspension for a period of time...say 10 games??
