im not comfortable at yall when yao has the ball in a crucial situation. theres like a 30% chance he'll make a turnover. t-mac on the otherhand can either create a play for himself or for someone else. im 100% confident in t-mac down the stretch. i'd rather lose with t-mac than lose with yao.

its a pretty useless poll imo......

I would go to whoever is hot. Its gonna be either T-mac or Yao.

Like other have said, If we are leading, go to Yao. If we are trailing, go to T-mac.

Tmac. If he misses Yao will get the rebound and get the foul and get 2 FT. Maybe I'm stretching it a bit with the "get the foul" part but ideally this would be nice.

What if TMac gets fouled and couldn't hit clutch free throws? I thought through the first several games TMac had vastly improved his FT shooting. Apparently I was wrong.

Totally agree. The way Tmac was playing last night, I was glad he had the ball in the last minute. I was also totally disappointed he took an immediate 3.

I've noticed when we're down by 3+ points in the final minutes, Tmac will more likely take 3's because he feels the need to close the gap as quick as possible. I'd rather see him drive for 2, he's also likely to draw a foul.

It of course depends on the situation but I'd say Tracy.

Yao's great but it's easy to stop 7-6 guy on the low post, I mean get a quick double team or just front him. And you cannot put Tracy off the ball in the clutch. He can gandle he can shoot but right now he can drive too.

If Tracy has been trying to get a high score throughout the game and Yao has few shots by comparison then Yao must be the tail end go to man.
If the reverse is true, no it can't be exactly true because Tracy will always have a lot of shots. But Tracy has been racking up the assists and needs to improve his numbers then he should be the tail end go to man. But Tracy must go to the basket and also draw fouls and make them also:p

That's the key. He CAN drive and attack the basket, but he doesn't do that consistently. Last night when the game was tied at 92, he could drive to the rim, but instead he chose to jack up a jumper. Then when we were down by 4, he chose to jack up a 3pt'er from way downtown. I know he was the reason why we were even in the game. But sometimes you just have to wonder what's going on in his mind.

That's how I see it, too...with one additional twist. It's a game of mismatches. The defense is going to plan it's late game strategy to stop your favorable matchups. Finding a way to put your other 3 players in a favorable on-court situation from a matchup perspective is far and away more important than designating Yao or McGrady as the only option(s).

i think it depends on the team we are playing. should we give the ball to yao against the jazz ? hell no, not unless we want a turnover.

would i want to throw it in to yao against say....golden state ? sure

but overall i say give it to t-mac. i just trust his abilities more than yaos. most of the time id trust an ill advised t-mac pull up 3 than throwing it into the post where i know yao may get swarmed and bad things usually happen thereafter.

if the guards weren't such a bunch of p*****s when throwing the ball to yao in the post, i'd go to yao every time.

quit lobbying that **** and zip the ball into his hands. that way it doesn't give the defender a chance to swipe the ball.

Whoever's hot between Yao, Tmac, James, and Bonzi or SF3... STeve really needs to be integrated into this team for it to do it right.

It's gotta be T-Mac. He doesn't have to bring the ball up but we have to set plays for him. Problem with Yao is that he needs time to make a play for himself.

It depends. If you wanna win a game, it's T-Mac. If you hope your rival win, it's Yao. If you wanna flip a coin to decide the game, it's others.

Man there is a ton of YOF's on this board, 10% more for Yao.

If Yao cut's his to's in half then we can have this conversation because 95% of the time it's T-MAC who should have the ball. I'm sure Bonzi will have a game every now and then where he dominates in the low post and then there will be times teams play Yao one on one and he dominates but most of the time it's Mac.
