Why do we all love this team? Me myself started to like this team when they won the championchip. Back then i didn´t like b-ball but then a year ago i began to love this sport, the first team i tought about was houston and i soon learnt the new team a the new superstar francis.... U must agree it´s not hard to love the rockets....
I think they should go back to their old uniforms,those are much more proffesionals.......... Have anyone seen that dress that re full red?
Because they are always the underdogs and because they can show more heart in one game than most teams do in a single season.
Ghetto, I also started liking the rockets when they won their first championship. I actually hated basketball back then. I remmeber my cousin would always come over and hog the TV with his basketball games, and I'd get so pissed! One day when I was in the 7th grade my history teacher was telling the class at the end of the day how the rockets made the playoffs again, but they were gonna choke like all the other times they made the playoffs. The Rockets went on to win the World Championship, and I was hooked on basketball. I'm now a huge fan of the Rockets and basketball in particular now. I never miss a Rockets game now unless there is a REALLY good reason. I always put Rockets bball first. I love this team because they got a lot of heart, and even though they are on an 11 game losing streak they still play their hearts out. Even when they are playing a boring team like the Bulls and they are down by like 30 points, I still sit through the whole game becasue I love watching them play, win or lose.
The Rockets are kind like wrestling to me... ....I don't know why I love them, I just do... ...and even when they suck, I can't stop watching )
Amen brother...I still hate wrestling...but i always have and always will love the Rox.....Ill be the first to admit i actually get real down and depressed when they lose, it actually effects me emotionally.......thats what its like to be a fan
I've been following them since Jr. High, when I really started to understand what they were about. Up until then, I was like any other kid, gravitating to certain players (Loved Dr. J!!), but didn't know what I was talking about half the time. Still not sure if I know what I'm talking about half the time!
For me i think that commercial they had a year or two ago sums it up. The commercial with the guy disgusted watching the game and he turns off the t.v. then he runs back in the room and apologizes and watches some more. That pretty much describes my love for them even when they are getting their butts handed too them I still have to watch . And i've been this way since 82'
