What's the cheapest car that I could buy new? I need to get a ride, and the only ones I am finding are older cars.
Kia and Hyundai (same company) both have 100,000 mile warranties. Hyundai Accent starts at 10,000 but I bet you can find a deal cheaper than that.
buy a used model from '06 or '07 . . . let some other fool get kicked in the teeth with depreciation . . .
Just my opinion: DONT go that route, if you happen to be buyer's remorseful. Go with slightly older better moldel over newest cheapest. Unless you totally value seeing the odometer read "0". After 2 years its all the same. my opinion as well.
Just get a Corolla. I'm getting one as my next car. I can't complain with the build quality, reliability, safety, and great gas mileage. The next gen Corollas look fantastic too! Might be a few more thousand dollars than the "cheapest car" but you get the best bang for your buck. I think they have the best resale value too. But if you want a fun, stylish car with a personality and tons of cool features (if that's what you're into) then get a Mazda3
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer ... you can buy a new DE model (5-speed) for about $13k ..... I spent $18k on the automatic GTS ... I love the car ... not the fastest with automatic ... but I love it. The car looks just awesome. ohh ya ... it comes with a 5 year / 60,000 bumper-to-bumper and a 10/100,000 powertrain.
