    they're not really doubling yao. he's just being fronted. there are some teams that consistently front him pretty well all game and he struggles. that's why we have to run that side pick and roll for yao to get better position.

    tmac is just straight owning. he made some REALLY REALLY tough shots. but he also got a lot of easy baskets.

    this yr, tmac has AT LEAST 2-3 easy baskets most nights.

    In the refs' defense on the Yao foul (aka Gasol super-flop), Yao did shove the hell out of Kinsey a second before. Got away with one, got played for one.

    Yes they are doubling, I see Mike Miller or Gasol coming around the back side every time Yao posts up.

    The worse problem is that Yao is really, really sucking it up on defense.

    The Grizzlies can't guard T-Mac, they tried in the 2nd quarter, but look how they got lost on T-Mac's 2 dunks (Rudy Gay on the 2nd), I think Tracy has to continue, he's having a big night and Memphis can't stop him. I hope he's 100% and that knee is fine.
    Yao has 3 fouls so he has to watch out.

    well they can do that b/c yao is being fronted. if yao gets position, he can get the ball easier. whose fault is that?

    they have to defend against the lob.

    so the best way is to use your strength and get position. don't put yourself in a position to be double teamed w/o the ball.

    You do not have to double Gasol. Chuck Hayes could easily shut him out, but hes just gotten some terrible calls.

    our bench has potential. but that potential won't be realized until scola is a big part. we need scola in the playoffs. but i'll give him a pass until after the ASG.

    No, he gets position, then Darko just walks in front and Mike Miller/Pau comes from behind. This should be opening up someone else. McGrady has gotten good looks 1v1 because of this. I'm surprised they haven't abandoned the fronting yet.

    He got hurt after an assist to Yao, it looked bad cause he couldn't run and went directly to the bench.
    But after the timeout he was back on the court and knocked down a 3.
