You are right, we did say that and the year before that too! Reality is, well, reality! go with it.... We need the right personnel at the right time under the right conditions. Think about how hard it is to win a championship and appreciate it. You have to stay major injury free, draft the right players, retain the right free agents, designate role players and have some luck! That is why the Lakers are so remarkable right now. Aas was the Rockets, Pistons, Bulls and every other team that wins multiple Championships. I think we could turn a negative year into a positive in three ways: 1) try to bounce back from this when Stevie gets back 2) if we cannot bounce back, head for a top pick in the draft 3)Get Torres and Griffin more PT
if this is directed towards me......I in no way think that just because I root for my team they are somehow better than they are....I have watched this game long enough to know to know when a team is just flat out bad, but we are not one of those teams. If we were we would have opened the season on an 0-11 skid...but did we....NO. Granted we should have been more prepared on the bench in case the inevitable happened, and it did. But there is only so much money to go around.....AND DONT EVER CALL ME A BANDWAGON JUMPER
I agree with you montgo...that is the most realistic way to view what is happening. I dont like to do it I just dont like all the threads of fans putting down their own team....I watch every game and i can really tell they are doing their best out ther....well 99% of the time....but think of how frustrated they are......lets start with ur #1 see if we can bounce back when Stevie returns......and shove it in ESPNs azz
