There have been two things that have stood out to me this season. The first is that Dikembe Mutombo has not blocked a shot yet. Dikembe is the second best shot blocker in the world and is known for causing fear in opponents. Naturally, I would look in the box scores and see something other than a donut in the block shot category for Dikembe. Like most, I am completely surprised that Steve Francis has not played at all. I was expecting to see him play big minutes when we signed him. Now I wonder when will we see Steve make his debut. I could just imagine the excitement! What will happen first: will Steve play or will Dikembe block a shot?
head---mt. mutombo blocks a shot.... heart---the big guy blocks a shot and on the fast break passes it to the franchise who dunks it from the free throw line in ak47 and boozers face.
Correct me if I am wrong. He's now placed onto IRL. Once a player placed onto IRL, he would not be able to play until he's removed from that IRL, and I think there is a minimum no. of days or games that the player needs to be on the IRL before he is reinstated back to the active roster. So the chance for your prediction to happen is ZERO !!
He's on the inactive list, there is no more injured reserve - and there is no minimum amount of time to stay there. You can move players on or off the active list up to one hour before tipoff on game day. http://www.nba.com/news/inactive_rules_0506.html
Steve is not going to play anytime soon and there is good reason for it. Deke should see more time, to relieve Yao in games we have control of. None yet, but the schedule will soften.
Can there be any easier polls than this?? Clearly Steve is gonna get his first minute against the Grizz and Mutombo accidentally blocking his first shot.
well seeing as how deke is one of the greatest shot blockers of all time, and plays every other game or so, i'm going with deke.
