worried about that gut? want rock hard abs? I'm going to be honest..Unless you're under the age 23 or a pro athlete,it's not going to happen. my best suggestion is to buy bigger shirts signed, actually, when i had doctor's permission, years ago, HITT worked wonders! that and a bottle of xenadrine every 6 weeks. I don't know if they still sell that.
Thats a pad around his mid section to protect from hits. Manning is in fantastic shape. Here is my adviceto the OP. Cut out the food you know is bad (pizza, donuts, cookies, milkshakes) Add the food you know is good (lean steaks, veggies, chicken breast) Concentrate on strength gains in the gym through conservative lifting exercises with focus on preventing injuries. Put your mind on strength gains and you will be quickly (and multiply) rewarded on the way to your goal of llooking good.
I know what you're trying to say and all, but steak, even lean, should only be eaten sparingly. has some things that are good for you, but increasingly we are learning that it has many bad bad health effects....if health in general is a concern...
any of you all have a good meal plan to go by and how many times a week should i be running the HIIT and how many times working out
Here is the quote from your highly dubious wiki link Sirloin or really any "loin" cut is VERY lean. Trim the fat from the edges and there is hardly any fat in the meat at all. Its not like a ribeye. Lean steak like I said in the first place is fine.
lean is definitely better, but even lean red meat should only be eaten sparingly. there have been a number of studies that have linked red meat to sizeable increased risks of cancer, fatty or lean. i'm just saying...make your own choices, I'm no vegetarian or anything, but I try to eat meat sparringly...
what kind of meat was it though? was it crap fast food burger meat? a nice lean sirlion only cooked in some salt and pepper? I know what you mean, you dont want red meat all the time, but if you are overly concerned about the health of a nice, lean steak or some venison, with minimal ingredients on occasion...then you just worry too much and need to live a little.
I agree wholeheartedly. I literally ate the biggest steak i've ever had in my life last Thursday. it was a great porterhouse. it was huge, i was on my 3rd glass of wine, so before i knew it, i had eaten the whole thing. i'm just saying, google "red meat cancer" and you'll find out all kinds of information. better to be informed and make decisions from there. and, relative to this thread, i know the OP is looking for specific eating and exercise advise. I just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents to be sure the OP has considered his health overall before making any radical, or even not so radical, diet or exercise changes.
I wouldn't laugh at those people. Strengthening abs can help with back pain. Yes, they need to lose weight, but having stronger abs in the meantime does have it's benefits.
iknow what you are saying, but everything causes cancer. there is a recent study that shows 100% of people who get cancer also breathe
We are just asking you to do the same. Outside of the high sat fat content of some cuts of beef there is no evidence that it is dangerous.
except for the hundreds of reports linking it to cancer? i posted the wiki link. i understand people don't like wiki. i'm not about to build a comprehensive case to show where red meat has been linked with cancer. again, google "red meat cancer". believe what you want.
i need to change up my routine and i do alter it bi-weekly, but im still seeing strength and mass increases so im not too much in a hurry. I do need to step up the cardio however. And I've also gone light on my shoulders since i have family history of bad shoulders so im somewhat afraid to hit them too hard. I've never hurt them badly, but i have had a few tweaks here and there.
the one drawback i've found with hiit is the punishment your joints take otherwise its awesome not for everyone though (plus it can make you a beast on the bball court)
I think Brightside does his on the elliptical. I've heard of people doint it on a stationary. It's supposed to work on all cardio in theroy. I personally use it on the treadmill and only 3 times a week. I stopped using for a while but I'm starting again bright and early tomorrow. Doing 7 min at first and building up to 15 minutes on through december. Should I ice my knees afterwards? I take glucosamine. ...ohhh I need a dipping belt. I was gonna order one off the net but if you know of a place that sells it for less than $25 I would appreciate it. Tried Academy and they don;t carry it. I'll even take a used one.
