Chose Rio with honorable mention to: hungry like the wolf, girls on film. Why babe-ocity why else? Like the video "a view to a kill" for the action and adventure. I mean Grace Jones doesn't evoke erotic thoughts for me. LOL! Christopher Walken was badass as the villain boss in this one. Brutally sinister.
her name is rio and she dances on the sand..well that's my favorite song. the chauffeur however i think is their best work overall.
This is a great song. Why does it only have 1 vote (which is mine)? I agree the video is lame though because they used a lot of older footage in it.
That's not the correct video for the song. This is the correct video: (embedding is disabled) http://youtube.com/watch?v=RYLTjXNTdoE

I never actually realized how much a part of the soundtrack of my youth was Duran Duran until this thread... Nice one Fatty. And "fle-flex"
Agreed. It's not even close. This is far and away the best Duran Duran song. I like a lot of Duran Duran too, but this song was the best.
I wouldn't say it was the worst in the world, but I thought it was bland. Back in the "Rio" days, I liked the band's balance. Not all synth, not all guitar, fun bass lines, fun rhythms, cool lyrics... Ordinary World is an okay song, but it doesn't reflect any of that.
1. The Chauffeur 2. The Reflex 3. Is There Something I Should Know 4. Winter Marches On (b-side to Notorious single) 5. Everything else
I actually saw them last fall at the Voodoo Fest in New Orleans. Its was weird. I stayed for maybe four songs.
