After reading the article by Balke I am pumped up. If anyone knows what govermnet official we can write to please tell me. I am also definitely for any support rally we can get together for. I have been a Rockets fan for about 10 years now and I'll be dammned if I let the Rockets leave without trying my best. I heard there is going to be another referendum and whenever it is, I am going to write in support of the rockets on my car, my dad's business windows, my own freakin house's windows. These people in Houston are annoying the $uck out of me. I want to know whenever the timing is correct who will gather for a rally before the vote. I personally am going to make sure that I get my entire family, my friends and also their family to vote for the freaking arena. I have no idea what it would be like to live without the Rockets. It is up to us true Rocket fans to decide if we are going to lay down and not do a thing to help our beloved Rockest. Or are we going to rise and show the damn NBA that we in Houston do care about our team, that we will not let them leave without a fight, that we will do whatever it takes to keep them. And I for one promise and as god is my witness i am not going to be one to surrender without a fight. I just bought season tickets this year and I want to be able to buy em when they make it to the finals in 3-4 years (like the Oilers). I also am going to try to find out who to write to and then post it over here. I dont care if any of you all are willing to help me, but it would be sure easier if there were alot of us. For those of you who might thing i'm getting a bit carried away, remember no one actually thought the Oilers would leave but they did. So the sooner we act the better. We have to show this stupid city that there are some of us who actually do love the Rockets whether they are in the finals or the lottery. For those of you who need some extra motivation, go rent the video of Double Clutch. I just saw it a few days back, and I definitely want more moments like that in my life.
