"24" is the best damn show on TV. After that, West Wing, Friends, & Undeclared are all a distant 2nd-4th. The new Rockets Comedy Fest (aka Rockets games) would be 5th, I guess.

    Top 5 shows:
    1) Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Joss Whedon is a god.
    2) Simpsons - Still got it after all these years.
    3) Farscape - Best sci-fi on TV, hands down.
    4) Family Guy - Most random show on TV.
    5) Stargate: SG1 - Second best sci-fi series on TV.

    Honorable mention:
    Newsradio reruns (on A&E)
Anything Star Trek-related (includes Enterprise; excludes original series)
    Seinfeld reruns
    Friends
    Malcolm in the Middle
Spin City (reruns with Michael J. Fox only)
Sifl & Olly reruns (on tape)
    Cowboy Bebop

Of course, I have a ReplayTV, so I can watch ALL my favorite shows with relative ease...

It doesn't get the respect it deserves from the Emmys and is usually 5th or 6th in the ratings for it's timeslot.

Next Tues. they are re-airing last season's episode, "The Body". If you haven't seen it then you'll want to tune in. It's my favorite episode of the entire series run.

Fair enough, but you have to admit, it gets a lot of coverage for a show that finishes that low in its timeslot.

I don't know if I should add The Sopranos to my list yet. I've only seen the first season on DVD, so I actually haven't watched an episode on television yet. When I do, it will be up there.

I think the soprano's has kick-ass acting. At least by the character played by Tony and his family. Not too dramatic, but not too under-dramatic.

Friends and Seinfield has way too much fake drama. A girl in my cubicle acts like that all day long .... it gets old quick!

    1. ER - each week I sit back and say "best show on tv" when it ends (and Benton leaves this thursday which I didn't realize was about to happen already)
    2. Scrubs - geez this show is funny (just saw a repeat of the 1st episode which I didn't see the first time and it was the funniest show I've seen this year)
    3. Everybody Loves Raymond - rotf quality comedy in this show
    4. Will and Grace - plain funny
    5. Mystery Science Theater 3000 - they don't still make new ones but they show them at 8 or 9 am on saturdays on scifi and i actually get up to watch it when i'm home in Houston. nothing else would possibly get me up within 3 hours of this time otherwise.

I didn't count Sportscenter in this countdown otherwise it would be up there and the Simpson's are my favorite show ever (tied with Cheers) and I still watch it but it's not as good as it used to be. Also, I've started watching more Malcolm in the Middle and that is hilarious also.
