    T-Mac did drive at the end, 3 of his 4 FGM in last 5min were from driving to the rim. He also shot 4 or 5 FT's in final 5min.

    So we still don't solve the PF and PG problem after the busy offseason :( We now got better record than last season simply because of the longer playing time from Yao and occasionally good performance from Bonzi....

    I was pulling my hair out when Tmac was shooting jumpers over jumpers, and missing. Finally, he played smart the last couple minutes and get to the line. That was key. He is relying on his shooting too much. He needs to go to the loop, at least mix them up, not just when his jumpshots are off.

    Did I give coaching tips?
    I just said YAo-TMAC combined to make 22-35 while the rest of the team went 7-32 and that is a problem.

    But apparently some fans here don´t see a problem with that or barely beating Charlotte. I only point it out so that they won´t be caught by surprise when we lose the next game where only Yao and T-Mac are playing.

    Capisci?

    NOW i understand the long rest for tmac through the game, for crucial moments like this down the stretch. tmac is the only guy who can break down a defense consistently and he drove every freakin' time.

    he had more hops in his steps down the stretch than ever throughout the game (maybe he was just really lazy hehe)

    They had free ride from Yao/TMac. I would have got +19 if I had stepped on the court at the same time as Yao.

    If you seriously believe that Rick Adelman needs to read this board to understand what we did poorly tonight or that he can't see things that YOU can see from your couch.... all I can say to that is 'Wow.'

    I know our bench sucked this game. Once again, James and Alston pretty much disappeared from the face the earth. BUT, we weren't without some positives.

    I think Yao and Tmac are finally GETTING IT. Yao is playing strong and aggressive. Perhaps a MVP season? Dallas was definitely the turning point.

    Tmac finally made adjustments and stopped jacking up crazy jumpers. In years past, he'd shoot us out of this game. Perhaps it was Adelman who finally reined Tmac in and asked him to either drive to the basket or pass it. I have a feeling coaching a something to do with it. Once again, showing that RA can make adjustments when needed.

    Finally I'm happy to see our stars getting more players involved. Although we didn't convert, the bench got enough touches and open looks. It's just a matter of hitting the shots. This is a step in the positive direction for this team and fitting into the new offense.

    as usual we looked like crap but somehow got the win. this is so frustrating :mad:

    we're simply being carried by our superstars as usual.. the depth doesn't mean **** and the new offense is almost laughable.

    whatever.

    dont blame the bench. lets take a look of starters:

    battier 2 points;
    hayes 2 points;
    rafer 6 points;

    for 97 min.

    they are not good.

    Take it easy Debbie Downer. This was our 7th real game with a new offense, it'll probably take all season for the team to really become acclimated to the system. I think most people figured that they would look kind of sloppy at the start of the season. I'm just glad we are picking up wins, while the team figures it out.

    I actually like that. It's a formula for a great Center/Guard team to win a few championships. It's the reason why Tmac demanded the Rockets and Yao when he forced his trade.

    I guess Shaq told Tmac: You will get your championship by riding Yao and finish the games. It works for Kobe!

    Hopefully Adelman wii have them shooting better percentages that allow us to get easier wins. Especially against the bad teams.
    We shouldn´t struggle against bad teams, we need to be fresh and rested (both physically and psychologically) for the better teams.

    T-Mac & Yao- 22-35

    Rest of team- 7-32

    Who can tell me, when our superstars have a cold night, they can do other things to help the team and keep them on the court is reasonble but our role players and bench players have a cold night like this, can we do something?

    Can we give a try for players sit on end of the bench?

    Yao had a strong overall gamea nd was totally clutch with those two free throws.

    Tmac kept us in the game late when he kept driving to the basket. I think a different point may be the fact that he now has energy to drive because he is allowed to rest during quarters (he rested for a few minutes beginning in the fourth).

    Shane had a great steal at the end that solidified it for us. We needed that less we see what happened to the Cavaliers when Deron ran up the court and laid in the ball.

    We need to shoot better!!! but I'll take the win!
