12-15 since the super bowl Eagles were dead last year until he got hurt and Garcia who is at this second a better qb led the eagles to the NFC East title these are facts period
I'm not reaching at all. I was responding to the weak excuses of no recievers and injuries happen to everyone. He is not ELITE!
Now this is just straight up McNabb hate. Now you are claiming that since he is running QB that makes him less good? Perhaps Elway and Steve Young were terrible QB's since they ran so much.
Whether people like McNabb or not can we put to rest this idea he is getting a pass because he is black? While there might be an argument that he is overrated I see no evidence that black QB's as a group are getting a pass and if race is such a big issue then surely other black QB's would be getting a pass on criticism too.
HaHa, putting McNabb's name next to Elway and Young is a joke. Elway was always a pocket passer with the ability to run Young was a runner first and was able to change his game which resulted in a Super Bowl and a first ballot Hall of Famer. When McNabb tried to change his game he struggled because he just plain and simple is not as good as those other guys.
Not other black qb's but I think he is getting a pass because of his statements and the fact that folks hold him in a good light because of the way he handled the Rush and TO things.
they just talked about McNabb on NFL radio. compared it to Brett Favre and Marino (Scott Mitchell). Said same crap was said about Marino when Mitchell replaced him. Said that McNabb has plenty of good years left.
I hope that McNabb's getting a free pass from the media. Would be great for Jewish-Black relationship!
Why? Why is that a joke? He didn't say they were better he did not even say they were the same just comparisons. Why is that a joke? Please remember this quote: "A quarterback gets an undue amount of praise when things are going well and receives an undue amount of scrutiny when they are not. Elway and Young had help when they won their respective Super Bowls. Young had the greatest wide receiver of all time in Jerry Rice, Taylor and a dual threat running back in Ricky Watters, an offensive line loaded with Pro Bowlers, an absolutely star-studded defense with players such as Ken Norton, Jr., Deion Sanders, Merton Hanks, Dana Stubblefield, Charles Mann, Bryant Young, and a former Super Bowl MVP in Richard Dent. Elway had a 1700 and 2000 yard rusher in his two Super Bowl years, Pro Bowl receiver Rod Smith and Shannon Sharpe, a Pro Bowl loaded offensive line, a defense led by Smith and Williams on the line, Romanowski and Mobley in linebackers, and Atwater, Gordon, and Braxton in the secondary. But....Elway and Young did it all by themselves.
What is your point. Look at his total win percentage throughout his career and it better than anybody in the league at the point. Why just give it for a certain period?
But with a Bill Belichick defense, just like elite QBs Phil Simms, Jeff Hostetler and Drew Bledsoe had.
Is it when the defense commits a penalty so the offense gets a free play? Basically they can chuck it down the field and if its an INT they can just accept the penalty?
