And opponents won't take that seriously until he's knocking down shot after shot. What's the point of having stars like YaoMac if you don't take advantage of everything they bring? Its not fair at all to compare Scola and Yi. Yi is one of the primary offensive options for the Bucks. Also he plays a lot more minutes than Scola. If Yi played close to 10 min per game and on a team with TMac, Yao, Bonzi, etc I dont think his numbers would look the same. Also its ridiculous to compare players based on 6 games worth of statistics. Seriously what is the point?
Scola is horrible. What's hype? The guy is soft and aimless at 4. After X number of years, the Rox still has a hole at 4. Get another Chuch Hayers and Rox in Finals.
Yi is better than Scola any way you slice it. It isn't fair to compare them only because there is no comparison. Agree with you on the 6 games but Yi's skillset blows Scola away and their upsides aren't close to each other.
You guys dissing Scola have no clue about what is going on....so many of those fouls are BS...he is getting zero respect from the Refs. That will change in time. DD
Yeah and he's still in the Oberto/Madsen/Rambis type mold yet we have many people arguing Yi is not as good. Scola will improve but he's basically what he has shown so far. Which to me is enough. Him and Hayes is enough, it's the starting point guard that is so awful.
Tonight's game clearly showed that Scola should be more involved. Rockets cannot always depend on jump shots. We need more play in the low post.
That's sad and I hate to say it, but I agree. At least Juwan doesn't commit ridiculous fouls. Yes DaDakota, they were fouls. I watched the game. Pushing people and sliding into position on a block/charge are fouls every time.

During his first months as a Bull, Nocioni was critiziced hardly by fans in Fan Forums. He didn't have enough ball handling skills and was too slow to play as a SF in the NBA, was too short to be a PF, he was a chaotic player with a limited offensive game, just a player who could be succesfull in the weak international game but no NBA material. Now he is a fan favorite and a very good role player. Scola needs time, just time.
