Which do you think is going to happen?

I would like to see a Kansas vs. Oregon title game. I believe that Kansas will lose the Big XII title game against Oklahoma if not sooner to Missouri or Iowa State. I believe Oregon will still pull off their last three wins of the season and make it. I feel that LSU will also win out, even though they may face a tough SEC title game opponent, I think they'll still win it.

    What I want:

    Kansas vs. Oregon

    What I believe will happen:

    Oregon vs. LSU

Hawaii vs Arizona St so everyone who loves football can cut their wrists and end the misery now before the apocalypse comes. This season doesn't scream "the BCS sucks" as it usually does. This time its screaming, "we need a $#$#ing playoff system".

I'd like to see Kansas and Hawaii win out. Kansas plays Oregon in the BCS title game. LSU plays Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl. Oregon and Hawaii wins and we get split national champions with the AP awarding a title to the only undefeated team, Hawaii.

I think Hawaii's schedule doesn't warrant them being in a championship game, undefeated or not. I would like to see Kansas go undefeated and face LSU.

There's no chance in the world that Hawaii even gets a single first-place vote, much less an AP No. 1. Wouldn't matter if somehow everyone had three losses.

I want Missouri vs. Oregon. I think Oregon is probably a better team than LSU, but the idea of playing LSU in New Orleans terrifies me.

Kansas non-conference schedule was less than stellar. They played Central Michigan (6-4), SE Louisiana (2-8), Toledo (5-5) and Florida International (0-9) all at home. They don't have to face either Texas or OU in conference play. But they don't make the conference schedule so that shouldn't count against them. With that being said they must run the table to have a legitimate shot to play for the title. They play Iowa State at home, Mizzou at Kansas City (should be a huge game for both schools with the winner playingfor the conference title) and then if they win that game in San Antonio for the Big XII Championship against presumably OU (who controls their own destiny).

I think Kansas loses at least one of those last 3 games and wouldn't be surprised at all if they lose to Missouri and don't even play for the conference championship. If they do run the table it could be controversial to see whether an undefeated Kansas team leaps over a one loss LSU or Oregon team in the final BCS standings. But I think this season with all the monumental upsets it's good not to be number 1/2 in the BCS standings until the very end. I don't think the Jayhawk team would play well as a No. 1 or No. 2 BCS team if that makes any sense.

LSU and Oregon basically control their own destinies right now with the Big XII champion (Kansas/Mizzou or OU) needing some help to get into the Title game in my best estimation.

Oregon played a tougher non-conference schedule playing Houston, Michigan, and Fresno State along with 9 conference games.

LSU had a tough SEC schedule plus wins over Va Tech, Tulane and Louisiana Tech in non-conference play.

The last BCS rankings reflect the non-conference schedules each team played and is why Kansas should not be No. 1 or even No. 2 this week. LSU had a .941, Oregon had a .918 and Kansas a .843. But like I said if Kansas can somehow beat Missouri and then OU they would make a strong case to play for the title and it would be interesting to see whether they jump Oregon or LSU (likely Oregon). I guess we'll just have to see as the games wind down but it like always the season will end with BCS controversy one way or another.

I think it's going to be LSU-Oregon. As much as I'd like to see Oregon win, it's going to be tough playing LSU in the Superdome. I don't know how well their fans travel, but considering that Baton Rouge is about 90 miles from New Orleans, it's basically going to be a home game.

CBS Sports.com already has their bowl predictions out for this week http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegefootball/bowls/predictions

    Title Game: LSU vs. Oregon

Comment: With No. 1 Ohio State losing to Illinois, LSU and Oregon are expected to move up to No. 1 and No. 2 in the BCS standings setting up a matchup between the two schools for the first time since 1977. Despite both teams having a loss, they have worked themselves back into title contention and neither team should be jumped if they win out. Oregon was passed over in the BCS in 2001 when it went 11-1, but won't be passed over this time. LSU will be looking for another national title after winning it in 2003.

Orange Bowl: Va Tech vs. Mizzou
Comment: Virginia Tech is now projected to win the ACC and land here as the conference champion. The Orange Bowl will use its other selection to take Big 12 runner-up Missouri, which will have only two losses.

Fiesta Bowl: OU vs. Arizona State
Comment: Oklahoma will end up as the Big 12 champion and earn an automatic bid to the Fiesta Bowl. With the Fiesta Bowl's other selection, it will take Arizona State, which will end up as the Pac-10 runner up.

Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs. West Virginia
Comment: With Ohio State losing, if they beat Michigan next week, it will earn a spot in the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1997. By losing Pac-10 champion Oregon to the national championship, the Rose Bowl will get first selection and will take West Virginia, the Big East champion.

    Sugar Bowl: Georgia vs. Hawaii
Comment: Despite having two losses, Georgia will be the replacement pick by the Sugar Bowl based on the way it finishes up the season. Georgia should win out and not play in the SEC title game, making it an obvious selection. With its last pick, the Sugar Bowl will take Hawaii, which will be undefeated.

so Mizzou, Arizona State, Georgia and Hawaii get at large bids. I could see a 2 loss Texas getting chosen to play in a BCS game over another team a la 2004 when Mack made that campaign for a BCS game through the Media.

I predict the BCS Championship will be Oregon vs. Oklahoma

    UO v OU

Oregon probably has the easiest path remaining. They win out.
LSU slips up either against Arkansas or the SEC Championship game.
OU hands Kansas their first defeat in the Big XII title game.

I expect to see LSU vs UO (Oregon). I want to see UO vs. KU because it would be nice to have new blood. The last thing I want is LSU vs OU again.

I WANT to see any game (doesn't matter who plays) that'll cause controversy and lead to gaining momentum for a playoff system.

I WILL see LSU vs. Oregon.
