yao yi yao yi yao yi yao yi yao yi YYYAAAOOO! ...... .....For my first post I had to get that out of my system...and it felt good That game had a lot of energy into it, I think YI has the potential to be the next Dirk without the cerebellar incoordinate problems. He's agressive and he's gonna bring it. Bucks will be a surprising team, thank god Redd was off. As for the Rockets, Loved the defence in the end, can't say enough about Bonzi, and Shane, Yao was so reliable, but man I got to agree with those that want to see Francis in there, he's got to get sometime in there instead of Luther head who seems to be streaky hot and at times goes on the milk carton. I'm sure it won't hurt. Infact it could turn out to be overkill.
what was up with the dudes (rowdies?) singing the yao ming song while he was getting interviewed? you guys know he hates that song right?
If Bonzi Wells can work hard and return to form then so can Steve Francis. I just wish he'd quit going to hotel ZaZa and drinking with his buddies. Now if only he would just work his butt off at the Gym, eat and drink healthy and work as hard as Yao Ming.
Bucks stayed close but really it was too much Yao, and T Mac and Bonzi closed the deal. We'll get cha next time. www.yifansclub.com
If Bonzi had been in shape last year, Rockets could win it all. But Bonzi can't get over his $40mi mistake not to take money from S. kings. JBG just was very unlucky.
Everybody knows Bucks sucks. That's why they got Bogut and Yi. Yi as a rookie has to earn the trust. History? big deal. enjoy the monment please. /********* Originally Posted by tongda121 Maybe my english is poor ,but who care!!! Did anyone correct Worrell about Chinese geography yet? He said Yi was from the northern provinces and Yao was from Shanghai, southern one. Uh, actually Shanghai is in the north and Shenzhen (where Yi is from) borders Hong Kong in the south. Not a big deal, I guess. But Cantonese got to represent!
we haven't reached our peak. james is not shooting well right now; scola has no impact outside of the jazz game (so he HAS to get better), tmac is not getting the movement he used to in the first 2 games (i think adelman reduced his set plays for tmac to balance out the others and get them more acclimated to this offense and involve) so that should return when everyone is on the same page. trust me, by the ASG, we will be hitting our stride.
Went to the game, it was a great experience! Yi definitely has some handles and range. Yao was a monster! I love the fact that he's actually complaining to the refs when he knows he's getting hacked down low. I cringe when I see Rafer take a shot!
[VIDEO]FULL GAME BUCKS VS HOUSTON If anyone is eager, the Chinese version of the Bucks and Houston is up. Houston vs Bucks
Yi definitely looks good out there. I don't know what is it with the NBA or what, but I swear Yi didn't look this smooth when I watched him playing in the CBA. Then, he actually looked sort of clunky. But watching him in this game, I can see why the scouts are drooling over him. He definitely has the potential to be as good as Dirk someday. One future match-up to watch will be Andrea Bargnani vs Yi Jianlian for sure. They're the new wave of international versatile big men. I like Yao's intensity this game too. He definitely showed Yi how to be The Man in the NBA. That throwdown by Tmac is downright nasty. I actually jumped out of my seat when he slammed it. It's good to be seeing the Tmac of old again. He's still a far cry from the glory days of Orlando, but damn, looks like the '04-'05 Tmac is back!
Too bad I had to work and could not pay any attention to the game. Looks like Yao had another good night and everybody else did their part. The Rockets got the win. Great!
