The attitude of this board changes so dramatically from week to week. The mood right now is straight up horrible. I really dont even want to come here at this time because I just get depressed. How can you guys expect to win with the line up that is on the court right now? We all agree that francis is one of the best players in the league. Take him away and the team is in pain. Look at philly. They suck without Iverson. But, with him in the lineup, they are one of the best teams in the east. Just like if you add francis to the rockets, they are a playoff calibur team. I just think that you all should lighten up a bit. Not only have we lost one of the best players in the league, but we are also playing without our power forward. Lets just cheer up a bit and await the return of our man, stevie franchise. If he comes back and we are still losing, then I will join you guys in the b****ing. Until then, be happy.
the way I like to think of this season is to match it to the year the Spurs bottomed out because of injuries and were able to take Duncan the next year. Imagine having a top 3 pick next year, steve, cuttino, MoTaylor and Eddie G with a year of experience under his belt...That is going to be a heck of a team. The rcokets, because of salary cap restricitons (because of money going to rice, cato, maloney and moochie) are not going to be players on the free agent market so the draft is the only way we will improve and to be honest we need more talent even if everyone was healthy in order to be major players in the west. Consider this year a blessing in disguise. Until next year, let's try and enjoy watching some of our younger talent develop.
there is also another way to improve without going after free agents and draft picks...lets see...i think its called a trade?
A trade won't help this team right now..... Teams will have bad years from time to time.....practically the whole team was changed from last year. It will take time to build chemistry again. We don't have much of a shooting touch right now due to the injuries to our stars. I would rather continue losing rather than acquire someone via a trade that won't help either. A top 10 lottery pick is more beneficial as the team grows together. I still love this team regardless of their record. It will get better.
