good lobster bisque (cheap stuff tastes terrible) baked potato soup in a bread bowl at panera.. and yeah, tomato basil at la madeleine is pretty solid too all fatness
Kind of... I can eat caldo de res or caldo de pollo all day long. As for other Vietnamese soups....ehh, I'll just stick with the po boys.
Pho, egg drop that's real eggy w/nothing else in it, gumbo, wonton, bisque, veg. beef ... I'll actually eat most soups. Except I was at a Thai buffet one time and there was a soup there that really stank.
Chicken Soup. Sautee ginger and red onion with olive oil. Add chicken meat stirring constantly for 5 minutes or until light brown. Add 2 tablespoons of fishsauce and sprinke with fresh and crashed peppercorn. Add 1 liter of water. simmerr until meat is cooked. Add baby carrots, potato, and celery. Add pepper leaves. Salt to taste. Yummy!
Somebody on this board posted an awesome chili recipe but I cannot remember it. I know it used beef or venison, a couple bottles of beer, salt pork, and some other ingredients but I cannot remember everything. Anybody know which recipe I am talking about?

I'm a fan of Panera Bread's soup. My favorite being the Cream of Chick and Wild Rice, but I also love their Clam Chowder.
