How about Moochie, Langhi and Collier for Nick the Quick.

Wait a minute. Why would Denver get rid of Nick?

Cause NVE asked to be traded. He said he was tired of losing. The Rockets aren't exactly winning right now though. He is supposedly good friends with Francis and Willis, and plays summer hoops in Houston.

He isn't exactly pulling a ****ten, so the Nugs won't accept crap.

Hey JerseyRocket...I'd give up Mobley if we could do a package to include LaFrentz as well....

    For example.....key pieces being Mobley/Cato for NVE/LaFrentz...

I don't know what salaries match up in order for a trade to work but I would consider trading Kelvin Cato, Walt Williams, and Dan Langhi for Lafrenz and Nick if it works out. They should not consider Catino in the trade.

Hakeem own words "Keep it simple".:D

With Garnett, Duncan, Wallace, Webber, Brand, Malone, Nowitzski and Gasol all in the Western Conference, I think it's more important for the Rockets to have a superstar PF than a superstar PG.

Assuming Antonio's rehab is going well, I would do this:

Houston trades: Steve Francis $3,473,520 to Denver
Houston trades: Kelvin Cato $6,048,000 to Denver
Houston trades: Maurice Taylor $6,500,000 to Denver
Houston trades: Glen Rice $8,800,000 to Denver
    TOTAL: $24,821,520

Denver trades: Antonio McDyess $11,700,000 to Houston
Denver trades: Nick Van Exel $9,093,750 to Houston
Denver trades: Raef LaFrentz $3,755,142 to Houston
    TOTAL: $24,548,892

    TRADE ACCEPTED

    Rockets
    1. Van Exel/Norris/T.Brown
    2. Mobley/Torres
    3. Griffin/Williams/Morris
    4. McDyess/Thomas
    5. LaFrentz/Willis/Collier

(that frontline would lead the league in blocks easily!)

Outlaw's trade is outstanding. I would do this even with Van Exel's bad knee. I do not believe the Nuggets would ever go for this unless Dan Issel started backsliding into drugs again.

This trade might be more popular than peaople would think. It would blow up the team.

We would have a 1st class point, with a front line!!!!!

    NugzFan,

I'm becoming concerned about you. You're becoming too passive. Where's that fire & defiance towards anyone that would try to trade for one of your players? Don't lay down & take it man. Stand up & be proud of your team. You & N4 are the only defenders of the Nuggets here & they need your support. Why haven't you pointed out that the Nuggets (for now) are a better team than the Rockets :( ? Be proud NugzFan & keep the faith. :)

By the way, would you do this trade? :D

Houston trades: Kelvin Cato $6,048,000 to Denver
Houston trades: Glen Rice $8,800,000 to Denver
    TOTAL: $14,848,000

Denver trades: Nick Van Exel $9,093,750 to Houston
Denver trades: James Posey $1,120,680 to Houston
Denver trades: Raef LaFrentz $3,755,142 to Houston
    TOTAL: $13,969,572

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Damn I should have paid more attention in Spanish during high-school.

Outlaw, I am sure glad you are not the GM. Francis is the best player in that group (apologies to Mr. McDyess) and trading the best player will not help you in the long run. Nick Van Exel is getting up there in age as well.

I cant understand for the life of me why some people on this board are so eager to get rid of Mobley?

i dunno. got kinda old. i tried defending my team and the number of bad deals doubled. i cant explain it.

have you guys ever HONESTLY tried making a deal fair to both teams (not necessarily the nuggets...any other team). like instead of making a deal that gets a "id defintely do this" (beacuse those deals are always ripoffs), make one that works for both teams...just a thought.

    btw, i love that deal!

I'm not trying to scam ya NugzFan....I'm working off the opinion that Mobley has more value than NVE......b/c he's younger, does not have a lingering injury, does not have the off-court baggage, etc.

In real terms, I would say their worth to a team is about equal. But Mobley prob worth more on the open mkt.

I think they are equally talented

    Antonio vs. Steve (00-01)
    20.8 ppg > 19.9 ppg
    12.1 rpg > 6.9 rpg
    2.1 apg < 6.5 apg
    1.7 bpg > 0.4 bpg
    0.6 spg < 1.8 spg
    .495 fg% > .451 fg%
    .700 ft% < .817 ft%

But like I said, a great PF is currently more of a premium in this league (or at least in the West) than a great PG.

What about the fact that NVE is BETTER than Mobley? Where does that fit in the equation?

Where would the fun be in that? All we're doing, is reinforcing the reasons why we're not the GM. :D

Get lost - that's not a fact as you put it, but your own biased opinion. They are both streaky gunners. NVE happens to be on a good streak to start this year while Mobley's on a not-so-good one.

Of course we do......y do u think we suck now...not for his scoring but for his leadership. The guys respect and trust him.....he knows when he needs to make something happen and when to find the guys that are already making something happen. These 10 games prove we need more than his stats. All these sites and papers bad mouthing us......he is our superstar!!! If LA lost both Bryant and Shaq, u think they would be worth a @##@#.....look at how Philly started without Iverson.....sorry to be blowing off steam on the post but Im sick of people losing faith in our team
