Sooooooo many people unwisely under estimate the value of ball handling, of not turning over the ball repeatedly during the final stretch of ball games.

    These people privilege choke city.

Fortunately, our coach is not one of these people. Coach Adelman favors winning ball games, clutch city, and not turning the ball over again and again.

I’m glad Adelman has the job. I’m glad that when defenses step it up, trap us, send flying bodies into passing lanes, we have a guy like Adelman who knows to put a guy like Rafer into the game.

Whiners can whine, but the Rockets will still favor winning ball games.

It has always confused me how Alston could be considered a "legend" when he isn't even a quality NBA starter?

Except Rafer tends to turn the ball over during the final stretch of ball games (Lakers game).

Not going to argue specifics, because I don't remember them. But what I do remember is screaming my head off watching last year's games at Rafer (and Head for that matter) for turning the ball over and for having an amazing lack of basketball IQ.

But if you think Rafer being able bring the ball up the court without turning it over in 3-4 possesions is worth putting up with his ugly shooting and non-existent defense, whatever floats your boat.

rafer no doubt is a good handler

problem is he's mentally weak.. in the end of games under pressure he has mental lapses

remember sam mitchell made this guy cry in toronto

Did he threaten to body slam him after the game?

Seriously,I can't wait to have AB unleashed alittle bit or get Biibby when he's healthy because all STML can do is "bring the ball up"....and we need more than THAT up top.C'mon we're a championship level team. We've seen a lot of pretenders come and go at the point over the years.I don't think we've had a real PG since John Lucas (back in the day and for too short atime, ahem).Sam played the position pretty well, but he was and is a look for your shot first guy.(Still would have been nice to have him alll these years, but that's a long thread which has been done, uses some 20/20 hindsight too) Kenny was more streaky than anything from outside with his own version of the matador defense.(once they started calling those handchecks by Harper, the NBA got their 7 games and we were fine...Kenny should have filed a report with the cops...geez)
But I'm confident that the Rockets are working on it and will do what needs to be done.

As far as Stevie goes...If he's in shape, give him some minutes.

Until then just enjoy "As the World Turns" in here.

Assuming that Francis was the shorter number 3 player in that clip, I didnt see Francis play against Skip in that video.
